Yah it is a bad rule. However what is the point of a "Supporter" area on the board if supporters don't even stay on the board. They should just get rid of it if its not in the b/w rules.

I believe that are is for 'Removed from game' cards and not the Supporter slot, and also the achievement 'Perfectionist' isn't working properly for anyone so far, but there's no need to complain, the thing is still in Beta and when the main thing comes up, all the Achievements will probably get restarted anyways...

I gave it a short try yesterday and I really like it. The program is very easy to handle, but kinda slow (but this could be a problem with my old PC).

I really like the highlighting of the options you have (e.g. if you have no Pokemon with damage counters on it, you cannot choose to play Potion). Does the code come from Japan and is just translated? If so, this could even be a good tool to create situations we have a ruling question on.

I would have one thing to improve. The looking perspective does not allow a very easy overview of the opponents´ side of the field, especially Energy placements are hard to see because this seems like three kilometres away. I would prefer a look from above (like in the Worlds finals videos) or at least an option to toggle it.

Ad AI? There is an option to change how good the AI will be and in the beginning a check box "Dynamic" is ticked which could mean that the difficulty will vary. Maybe it is better if you untick this and choose "Hard"?

This is a VERY good system. Visual cards and a computer that knows what cards do is a huge improvement over other programs. Great job Pokemon! :)

Yeah, I imagine the site is getting crushed with users, it has been freezing on and off all afternoon.

In case it's a 'bug', it's not letting you earn tokens and gems. Would also be nice if it let you look at the other cards in your hand before picking your starting Pokemon.

AI is okay, easy but made more of a challenge with the crap decks we get. Deck customization better be good and easy when PVP comes out. I doubt we can just punch in our current decks.

I'm pumped for this. It was actually pretty refreshing to play with different decks and against so many different Pokemon. This is going to seriously deter from my studying time :p. too bad I can't seem to connect at my university :(.

From what I'm seeing, you do gain tokens. They just don't show up clearly on your trainer profile. When you win a game check the left hand side and it will say how many tokens you gained and how many you currently have.

I have no idea what the gems are though. That remains a mystery.

Since I assume TPCi will be reading here are some random thoughts..

The game hasn't crashed and its no longer been laggy to me after I rebooted my PC, people having trouble need to remember that Flash is pretty CPU intensive so if your machine is a little bit older that may be the reason for crashing and not the game itself. I haven't had it crash once for me and it was only laggy a bit yesterday but like I mentioned I hadn't restarted my computer for a couple of days. For those having trouble turning off the animations would probably help.

It'd be nice if the attack command had the text of attacks instead of just an asterisk, it only tells you if they do damage and you have to get out of the attack menu and read the card so you know what the special effects are. Also it only shows the attacks that you have energy for, it'd be nice if you could see all of the PKMNs attack only have greyed out the one you don't have energy for.

I would like it if the table was less tilted and more of a birds eye view so it'd be easier to see your opponents cards without having to do it individually.

I'm assuming that there will be no tips during pvp telling you you forgot to attach an energy but I'll mention it that it shouldn't be there during pvp, same with the undo feature.

I would also like to know how many cards are left in my deck and my opponents, this was in the GB game, there is absolutely no way to know how much of your deck you've gone through, not even a visual cue of your deck shrinking. There is also no way to check what is in your discard pile which is useful for certain cards.

Probably not important but when you select your bench before the match it is not flipped down like your active is and should be. The GBC game had this too but its a bit annoying having to flip through sleep when you already KOd a Pokemon or flip coins for damage when you already KOd him.

I like the intros with your opponents though in the fight the text opponents goes too fast and even if its not important I kinda like reading it. I especially like the ones that are more witty ones. Some text during the match from your opponent would make the game feel more "alive" as well. I think its neat when the face of your opponent and yours changes depending if you're losing or not. More stronger and different personalities for my opponents would be a great added welcome, I mean the current ones are pretty decent and do a great job but I think more can be done with them and make the game much more memorable.

When you are affected by something or play a trainer that affects some Pokemon you get an exclamation mark on one or various Pokemon's but once that is there you have no idea why it is there. I mean I know its because I just played PlusPower etc but if you aren't sure there is no way to find out.

Some things that may have been errors were with Wigglytuffs and Exeggcute seemed to do a different attack in that they only flipped one coin, but this was before I realized you could skip coin tosses by pressing the mouse so I am no longer positive if I accidentally skipped the coin tosses or if it was indeed an error. There was also one time I was not allowed to use Pokemon Reversal, as far as I remember I should have been able to but couldn't. That was the only time I ever had trouble playing Pokemon Reversal.

The AI does seem to be inferior to the one on the Gameboy game, opponents don't really retreat even though they could have easily saved a Pokemon or KOd me with one of their bench, they also keep using Moo Moo Milk for only one damage counter on a guy that can easily take plenty more damage...

Somethings I would like to see implemented include a fullscreen mode for the game. Some music would be nice as well, I'm assuming you don't have the rights for the actual Pokemon music but some original music that doesn't get too repetitive would be nice. The Gameboy TCG actualy had some awesome original music that didn't get old during the matches. The League tournaments is a cool idea but I would also like something implemented like in the Gameboy TCG game were you eventually went for "medals" and a leader, thats a nice change of pace from tournaments.

The avatar creation shows a lot of potential, I'd love to be able to buy more stuff like you can for your avatar in Pokemon.com. In fact I think the TCG avatar already surpasses the pokemon.com one by a lot, and I'd actually like to see pokemon.com incorporate the TCG one if somehow that is possible with being able to buy clothes and what not like in the pokemon.com avatars.

I'm not too crazy about this being a PC game since I don't know how they'll handle the Tokens, this is why I'd rather this be say a Wiiware or DS game and pay for new expansions as they come out as downloads, I'd hate it if they go the Zynga games model like with Farmville and whatnot. We'll have to wait and see I guess. Oh and I hope you can buy new coins later, I don't like the two choices they give me ;)

I understand what you're going for but this is an absolutely terrible idea to incorporate in the game. This isn't "get ready to replicate the experience of OP" but an actual game.

I imagine with longer attacks, having the full text could easily clutter the screen, and it's very easy to see the attacks on the card itself. I agree with having the second (third) attack visible at all times and greyed out when unavailable, however.

You can check your discard pile, or your opponents, just by clicking on it. Similarly, clicking on either players bench will allow you to view that bench in slightly greater detail.

Probably not important but when you select your bench before the match it is not flipped down like your active is and should be. The GBC game had this too but its a bit annoying having to flip through sleep when you already KOd a Pokemon or flip coins for damage when you already KOd him.

I'm guessing the first part is that it was determined that flipping the Player's Pokémon face-down on their interface was unnecessary, and lets you look at the cards you've placed without having to mouse over or Eye it. The latter is frustrating, but skippable.

I believe that would simply be you skipped the coin flip animation. Check the sidebar, and they'll show you the results of the flip(s) if you skip the animation, as well as showing the last flip.

The AI definitely doesn't always make the smartest play, but when you think about the programming logic that must be needed to sort through the hundreds of possible combination of actions available, with even the limited card pool used, it must be a programming nightmare. It is amazing that the AI can actually win some of the games.

BDS

Oh, don't get me wrong. I think that AI in this game in general is great, especially since this is a beta (that and I actually got donked once). I just thought I would give that story of what happened so people could get a laugh. It was even more fun actually seeing it happen though.
