Parking at Nats?

I'm not sure if this has already been covered but where is the best place to park in the city of Indianapolis?

Parking at the hotel's garages sounds very expensive.

If you're not staying at one of the downtown hotels (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to stay down there), there's a day parking lot by the park on the West side. It's about 2 blocks from the convention center, costs about $10-15, and there's generally plenty of parking. On the downside, I don't think you can park there overnight.

There's also mall parking, though I don't know how much that costs or whether or not you can park overnight.

Depending on how far you want to walk/pay, you can find cheap/free parking the further you get away from the downtown. I've found free parking two years in a row, but it was a decent hike from there to hotels/convention center. If you want cheap, I suggest getting everything you need for weekend out of your car when you arrive and then plan to leave your car in one spot all weekend. Most everything in Indy is accessible by walking.

last year they had parking at the lucas oil stadium for 5 bucks. That was real nice, I hope they have it again. Parking in Indy isn't great, but its not terrible.
