1. Are the individual Pikachu cards desirable? Or does the value go away once the folder has been opened?
2. What might they be worth? (As a selling price.)

Yes, it was handed out in the 2000 Olympics. They're not too popular because (as you see above) people have no idea they exist. I have an opened and unopened World collection that I ran on eBay for as low as $15 (open) and $20 (sealed).. Of course they didn't sell... So I would say if you plan on selling them, it's going to take a while..

I wasn't aware that they were given out at the 2000 Olympics. That's really cool in my opinion. I think I would rather trade it for something decent then wait a long time to sell it.
 
Oops. My mistake. They weren't handed out. They were sold during the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney Australia.
 
I had a sealed one recently that I sold to a friend for $20.

It's weird because with all of the Pikachu fans out there, I would think it would be a pretty good seller, but it just isn't.
 
Which Pikachu collection? The one from 2000 or the recent one? The more recent collection was all but impossible to get in mint.
