Tonight has been the second time I've seen an advertisment for pokémon DS games in Big Brother on Channel 4 in the UK. Our Big Brother has frequent swearing, inappropriate conversation and nudity. Late at night, it's certainly not the sort of thing appropriate to children. So how come Nintendo are marketing the pokémon games with that?

That is strange. And it is also strange that the games have been out for for over one year (not sure about the UK though) and they're still advertising?

Maybe they're trying to show that Pokemon is not just a kid's game (which is what many Pokefans have been trying to say all along)?

i think the exact same way.
Pokémon is played by many adults too especially the DS game.
I go to many anime cons, some far some being appropriate for 12-
and they all pokemon ds in the reg lines.

Fair enough, however this particular advert featured 8 children young-teen age, so does that mean that they are marketing to an older audience by showing children on the advert?
