Awesome guys, keep on bringing the podcasts!

I don't see what the problem with the volume is. It's fine for me.

It depends what type/era of music you listen to. Modern CDs are almost universally louder then those made 15-20 years ago.

Yet another great podcast.

By the way, on the 2nd Netdecking MP3 version, there's some dead space from 21:57 to 22:44.

And who plays those Pokemon themes on the Piano? It's soo great!

On the subject of Queendom:

Jeremy put the deck up on Avmozz's contest some time before the tournament...

Going second, if the opponent needs a specific card to win, they can search for it at the beginning of the turn, amongst other things. There's an article on Pojo about this entire thing.

On the subject of deck fixing:

I know that I find myself being something of a 1337ist on other boards when fixing decks. I tend to fix a lot of decks to how I feel a good strategy should be run around a certain card. Look at the Pokeschool forums for examples of what I'm talking about...

I also know that I'm guilty of the "backlashing" that you're talking about in the 19th minute. I've built decks with certain strategies, and others have posted some very nice fixes for them, and I've ignored them completely initially.

21.55 through 22.40 is completely blank.

Is the ToC championship bracket up yet? When it will go up?

Also, is there such a thing as "too much deck advise"?

So sorry - Mind the Gap!

Podcast Riders: there is a gap in the edit around minute 21 - fast forward over it so you don't fall in and land on the third rail!

Another great podcast, keep em coming!
Patriarch, I'm perdy much in agreement with you definition on net decking. Taking a list off the internet without or very little (a game or two) playtesting and using it. Because even if you take a basic list off the internet, as long as you work with it, playtest, tech/ or untech cards, and make it your own.

On the other hand, very little was mentioned on the positive side of netdecking. Most just frown upon it and view it as an unmoral sin in public yet we all do it late at night when every one else is sleeping. One of the most usefull positives of net decking is taking decks to practice against. If you just made a new deck and want to make sure its right for the metagame, it'd take you about 10-20 min to make a soild list by going off the top of your head. Then half way through the first game you realize you forgot the rare candy. If your going to make a list for every Archetype, lets say 20 decks. Thats anywhere where from 3 hours to 6 and a half hours. Where if you just netdecked each of them, thats maybe 5min to find a good list, build it and make quick fixes. In this case an hour and a forty minutes. Thats aleast 3 more games you can play before bed or homework ;)

Seeing PokéGym get its podcast out makes me with that the Bulbacast wasn't currently on hiatus. With work/study commitments, and one of our regular cast literally a missing person (PPNSteve of Pokémon Palace Network / PokéCommunity hasn't been seen online in a long time), we haven't been able to arrange things for an episode in several months.

Oh well, maybe listening to these will help us with our own cast. We were running a bit low on fresh ideas. ^^;

id love to call in and participate. im a huge fan of podcasts. id love to share my comments about the secret deck :D

I thought the 3rd one was very good also. I liked hearing some other people weigh in. Tough topic though, talking about a set that most of us haven't seen yet. But it was still entertaining.

Keep 'em coming! (I can't wait until the "Season" starts so we can hear some takes on decks that are doing well, issues that come up during the tournaments, and such.)

The one on Dragon Frontiers was realy good. Looking forward to more editions and especially to the international one.
