New in this episode, technically speaking

The MP3 plain audio file is in the oven and should be out in, um, 14min 27sec. Hang on you MP3 fans!

The AAC/MP4 multimedia podcast is up, including:
  • Links to cast profiles.
  • City Championships info.
  • New OP season rules.
  • Some of the decks discussed by the cast.
Suggestions on better use of these features is appreciated.

Next podcast we'll be using some new software in the recording, but in response to your comments we've tried to improve a couple things technically:
  • Modulation (boosted the recording gain, post production).
  • Silence Filter (for a more meaty experience).
Among the lessons learned, to be added to the pre-recording check:
  • If your earpiece volume is up to high on your phone handset, it feeds back into the mouthpiece and creates an audio buzz (caught that about halfway through).
Feedback (not the audio kind) is appreciated, as well as other suggestions for improvement and topics!
