Thanks for the 5000+ views everyone! I'm working extra hard on the next chapter since it's the last chapter for this fan fiction.

A deafening explosion from 16 spheres of Judgement attack echoed for what seemed like an hour to our heroes. The Life Force Chamber kept vibrating. Everyone was on the ground and taking cover afraid that at any second the entire space station would fall apart and drag them to their deaths.
Arceus X: “What?”
Chase: “Huh? Arceus X’s attack didn’t work?”
Gwen: “Not the way he wanted it to work. Look!” Everyone looked out the window and up toward the top Sphere of the Space Station. A Bronzong and Clefable had both appeared with a barrier around them. They had used Protect, but apparently not soon enough as three huge holes behind them on the space station were clearly visible. The holes were as big a Clefable, showing Arceus X’s intimidating power.
Jason: “Those are the Boss’ Pokemon.”
Blade (over intercom): “I did my best. Now it’s all up to you young trainers. Xero, considered your life coming to an end at my hands.” Arceus X used the 16 plates to transform back into the???-type and then looked at the top sphere of the Space Station. It could see Blade there still smoking a cigar and looking back at him with a PRi in his other hand. The smoke from Blade’s cigar curled upward and camouflaged with his grey curly hair.
Arceus X: “You know Blade, ever since you used me for your sick experiments I always found you a diguesting excuse for a human.”
Shade: “We all could say the same about you, Xero.” Arceus X looked down to the Life Force Chamber and saw that the trainers got back up. All the Pokemon they sent out were also recovering from round 1 and looked like they were ready for round 2. AJ’s shiny Salamance roared, Krystal’s shiny Lucario lit its paws with blue aura and stuck a fighting stance making it look similar to a Dragon Ball Z warrior.
Blade: “Bronzong, Gyro Ball!” Blade’s Bronzong began spinning its body at high speed and then headed straight towards Arceus X.
Arceus X: “It’s over! Take this, a Judgement from Hell!” The Flame Plate lit up and then Arceus X shot a gigantic fireball that consumed Bronzong. Everyone gasped as Bronzong was pushed back and sent flying toward the top sphere. The Judgement attack didn’t stop there. It breached the steel walls of the space station. Blade’s eyes widened as the fireball came straight to him. No one in the Life Force Chamber saw what happened next but they did hear Blade shout in pain. After ten second there nothing but the sound of the Space Station’s alarm blaring.
Jason: “Ah, the boss…”
Shade: “He’s gone…”
Gwen: “No. It can’t be…” Arceus X let out a laugh.
Arceus X: “Well Blade, looks like you got to go out in a blaze of glory!” He continued to laugh evilly. All this just filled Chase and AJ with raged. AJ clenched his fist and then just punch the steel wall with all his might. As for Chase he ran up to the window and yelled at Arceus X.
Chase: “XERO! YOU MONSTER! How could you do such a horrible thing?!” Arceus X stopped laughing and looked down to Chase. Chase and his shiny Nidoking floating outside the space station stared him down.
Arceus X: “Monster?” The 16 plates began glowing again. “I am no monster! I’M A GOD!” Xero fired 16 blasts of Judgement once more!
Chase: “Sludge Bomb!” Nidoking fired an endless streams of blobs of sludge and managed to stop two of the Judgement spheres.
AJ: “Salamance, Hydro Pump!” AJ’s shiny Salamance took a deep breath, and then fired a jet stream of water and stopped 3 of the Judgement spheres.
Vik: “Scizor, Bullet Punch!” Vik’s shiny Scizor zipped from one sphere to another with both of its claws glowing bright orange as it destroyed one Judgement Sphere after another, taking out a grand total of four.
Lucas: “Gallade, use Psycho Cut!” Both of Gallade’s blade arms glow a bright blue. Then it swung both of them and two blades of psychic energy sliced and destroyed two Judgement spheres.
Brad: “Skarmory, use Steel Wing!” Brad’s shiny Skarmory flew in sliced four more spheres with its steel wind attack.
Chatot: “Rawk. Krystal wants Lucario do use Aura Sphere!” Krystal’s shiny Lucario used the aura already charged it in its paws to fire three Aura Spheres to destroy the remaining three judgement spheres.
Shade: “Now Darkrai, hit Arceus with Dark Pulse.”
Gwen: “Gardevoir, team up with Darkrai and fire a Shadow Ball!” Shiny Darkai and Shiny Gardevoir flew in toward Arceus X and fired their attacks.
Arceus X: “How useless.” Arceus X began to ascent to dodge the attack. Darkrai fired a stream of dark energy while Gardevoir formed a ball of Shadows and fired it. The attacks closed in on Arceus X but he was getting out of the way. The attacks missed their target. Shade pounded his fist against the steel wall.
Shade: “Come on!” The attacks kept going and hit one of the 16 plates. It was the dark purple plate, the Spooky Plate, and the Plate cracked from Shadow Ball’s hit.
Arceus X: “What?” Then Dark Pulse also hit the Spooky Plate. The plate gained more cracks and then finally shattered to tiny pieces. Arceus X let out a scream in pain.
Chase: “Did you guys see that?”
Brad: “We’ve been going with the wrong tactics. We need to attack the plates, not Arceus.”
Jason: “That makes sense. Arceus is said to draw all its power from the 16 plates, so if we destroyed all of them, then he’d be nothing! He may even revert back into his original form of Ditto.”
AJ: “Let’s try it. Salamance, use Hydro Pump on the Plates!”
Chase: “Nidoking, team up and use another Sludge Bomb!” Both of them attacked, with Nidoking mixing its Sludge Bomb with the jet stream of Salamance’s Hydro Pump. Both attacks hit the Meadow Plate. The plate gained only a few cracks. Arceus X groaned in pain.
Arceus X: “You rotten little pests. Spacial Rend!” A swirl of pink energy surrounded Salamance and Nidoking.
Gwen: “Gardevoir, get them out of there! Teleport!” Gardevoir appeared next to Salamance and Nidoking and then Teleported them away from the attack. They appeared right on Arceus’ body. Gardevoir rode away on Salamance's back while Nidoking stood on Arceus' back where the plates orbited its body.
Chase: “Now Nidoking, use Earthquake!” Nidoking stomped on Arceus X’s body. The shock wave from Earthquake’s energy went out and hit the 15 remaining plates. However, only the Flame, Zap, Toxic, Stone, and Iron plates cracked while the others seemed unharmed.
AJ: “What gives? We’re attacking the plates, so how come the Meadow Plate only cracked from three attacks while the Spooky Plate got destroyed from two attacks?”
Jason: “Super Effective!” Everyone in the Life Force Chamber got confused and then turned toward Jason. “We have to hit each Plate with an attack type that’s super effective against it.”
Amy: “Oh of course! Ghost types only have two weaknesses, Ghost and Dark, so when Darkai and Gardevoir hit it, those two Super Effective attacks destroyed it.”
AJ: “I see. Hydro Pump is not very effective against Grass Types so it had no effect on the Meadow Plate.”
Chase: “So that’s why the Meadow Plate got a few cracks from Sludge Bomb. Grass types have five weaknesses, so it requires more hits to make it shatter. Plus Earthquake can hit five types for Super Effective hits.”
Lucas: “OK, Gallade, hit the Fist Plate with Psycho Cut.” Lucas’ Gallade held its right arm in front of it and concentrated as blue psychic energy gathered on it.
Gallade: “Gaallllllllll-“ Gallade’s arm glowed with bright blue energy that seemed to become more powerful by the second.
Arceus X: “I like to see you try Gallade!” The Sky Plate glowed and then a Judgement Attack came from it.
AJ: “Slamace, use Draco Meteor to intercept Xero’s attack and smash the plates!” AJ’s Salamance glowed with bright blue and orange energy! Then it fired a ball of energy from it’s mouth and multiple meteors of blue and orange energy rained down. It took three meteors to cancel out the judgement attack. The meteors rained down on Arceus X for ten seconds and pummeled each plate, but only the Draco Plate was severely cracked. Gallade still had its right arm held straight up in front of it.
Lucas: “Now Gallade! Give it everything you got!”
Gallade: “Lade! Gal-LADE!” Gallade swung its arm The blade split into two and they flew at high speed toward the Fist and the Toxic Plate. The Toxic Plate shattered and the Fist Plate gained several large cracks. Lucas cheered with joy! Gallade looked behind it and winked at Salamance. Salamance nodded its head.
Chatot: "Yay! Nice job Bogus and PJ! Now Lucario's turn with more Aura Spheres!" Krystal's Lucario Charged up more Aura Spheres and fired them at the Iron, Dread, Stone, and Icicle Plates. All those plates cracked and Arceus X yelled out in pain again.
Arceus X: "Oh.." Everyone heard Xero's voice swear at them.
Chase: "What's the matter Xero. Getting a little upset? Nidoking, Fire Blast on the Iron Plate!" Chase's Nidoking breathed in and then shot out a huge fireball that formed in the Kanji sign for "Dai" and stuck the Iron Plate, destroying it in the process. Arceus X groaned and its head was down, showing its fatigue.
Arceus X: “Gr, I am not going to lose to a bunch of insects! Roar of Time!” Arceus X fired crystal-like blue energy stream at Salamance. The attack hit and Salamance roared in pain.
AJ: “No, Salamance!” Salamance was pushed toward the center of the Space Station, where Arceus X tried to attack earlier. This time the Space Station really did break apart! Everyone in the Life Force Chamber would feel the ground below them shift as it began drifting off course! All the lights went out as a power outage took place.
Lucas: “Ah! We’re gonna die!”
Gwen: “No we won’t! We can still evacuate, but we gotta leave fast! We’ll lose oxygen here pretty quickly!”
Chase: “What about Xero? I’m staying here to finish what we started.”
Jason: “Stay here and we’ll surely die! Just look out the window, you can see the Earth slipping away from our view!”
Shade: “I’m staying too! I got a personal score to settle with that creep! Darkrai, Dark Pulse on the Mind Plate!” Since Arceus X had to recharge after using Roar of Time, Darkrai got to fly in and fire a Dark Pulse attack to crack the Mind Plate!
Jason: “I have an idea. Metagross and Regigigas, assist us!” Jason brought out his PRi and his Metagross and Regigigas appeared! Metagross let out a roar while Regigigas got up and stood too tall to walk out the door!
Gwen: “What are you doing?”
Jason: “Buying you more time to battle Xero before this whole place takes us to oblivion. Have Gardevoir teleport us to the center of the space station.” Gwen looked down. She knew that Jason was about to put his life in danger in the worst way possible.
AJ: “Gwen, we’re wasting time. Just do it. We have to hang onto the only fighting chance we got.”
Gwen: “OK, you heard him Gardevoir!” Just like that, Gardevoir appeared and then teleported Jason and his Pokemon to the center. The hallway connecting the Life Force Chamber to the loading dock for space shuttles was torn apart. Air was being sucked out into the vastness of space. As soon as Jason appeared hter he had to take cover in a nook of bent steel to hold him in place. Immediately he found it difficult to breathe, but he saved his last breathe for the attack orders.
Jason: “Seal off this hole! Use Crush Grip and Psychic!” Regigigas got to work by bending the torn steel with its massive size and strength. Metagross helped Regigigas by using Psychic to help it. Jason had to hold each breath he took as precious oxygen literally flew out the door. It was long until he felt light headed. Gwen thought about Jason and what he was trying.
Gwen: “Thanks Jason… and good bye.”

Chapter 26
Ladies and gentlemen, Pokemon fans alike, I give you the final chapter for this installment for Pokemon AR. I hope you all will enjoy the final battle. So step into my Pokemon world for the last chapter.

Air rushed past Jason out the torn hallway as Regigigas and Metagross worked together to seal off the newly made exit. Regigigas used it immense strength to bend the steel of the hallways inward and make the hole smaller while Metagross did the same. Jason crouched down in a nook to avoid being sucked out into space and suffer a horrifying death. He was feeling light headed, but the air pressure inside the Space Station was slowly stabilizing so he knew he’d make it. Then he heard footsteps and saw two creatures approaching. One with a body made of lava and the other made of clear blue liquid.
Jason (thinking): Oh no, Xero’s prototype Pokèmon. Volcanoid and Liquoid. What now?
Meanwhile, back at the Life Force chamber all the other trainers on board tried to continue their battle with Xero. The Space Station had lost all its electrical power so all the lights had turned off. Since the window didn’t have the sun anywhere in view it was pitch black inside the chamber. The only light they had came from the screens of their PRi’s and cell phones.
Shade: “Luxray, come on out and use Flash!” In the pitch black darkness the bright flash from the Luxray’s summon nearly blinded anyone who looked directly at it.
Luxray: “Lux. Lux-raaaaaaaaaayyyy!” Luxray glowed white and then light expanded from Luxray’s body and it generated enough light for everyone to see the lower level of the chamber but the ceiling was still dark. Luxray’s Flash probably had the range of a common street light.
Chase: “Didn’t think an emo guy like you Shade would carry a Pokèmon that knows Flash.”
Shade: “Shut up.” Everyone heard Salamance and Nidoking cry out. They all looked out and saw that they were avoiding more energy blasts from Arceus X’s Judgement attack. The 13 remaining plates were all glowing and firing even more Judgement spheres.
Gwen: “I need some cover boys. Gardevoir, use Thunderbolt on all of the plates!”
Chase: “Nidoking, use Sludge Bomb!”
Lucas: “Gallade, Psycho Cut!”
Shade: “Darkrai, use Dark Pulse!”
AJ: “Salamance, Draco Meteor!” The boys’ Pokémon teamed up and fired an array of sludge blobs, orange and blue meteors, blades of psychic energy, and a stream of dark energy to intercept all of the 13 Judgment spheres. Then Gardevoir floated toward Arceus X who was still in the ???-type form. Gardevoir looked at the ugly lime green arches attached to Arceus’ body and the 13 remaining plates. Then its body sparked with electricity and it let loose the Thunderbolt.
Arceus X: “Ah, you pests. I… cannot…” The Splash and Sky plates cracked as Arceus X tried to fight off its pain. “…lose to you like this.” Suddenly Lucas’ Gallade appeared on Arceus’ back with its left blade arm glowing green. Gallade had its eyes locked onto the cracked Splash Plate.
Lucas: “Let him have it Gallade! Use Leaf Blade!” Gallade jumped up and then swung its left arm down diagonally and it cut right through the Splash Plate. The two pieces of the plate then cracked apart even more and then shattered. Gallade Teleported away before Arceus X had a chance to try to attack it.
Arceus X: “Oh, this can’t be happening.” Suddenly the ugly colors of the ???-type form began to fade and for a second, everyone saw Arceus’ normal colors return and then changed back to the ???-type form.
Vik: “Scizor, X-Scissor on the Meadow Plate!”
Chase: “Nidoking, team up with Scizor and use Fire Blast on the same Plate!” Arceus X looked up and saw a Shiny Scizor flying at it with its claws glowing with a bright green light while a Nidoking behing it had an opened mouth with flames bursting out. Arceus X then formed pink and purple energy swirls around Nidoking.
Arceus X: “You fools haven’t won yet! Spacial Rend!” Scizor managed to fly in and slice the Meadow Plate, leaving two huge slanted clacked in the plate along with the other cracks from the Sludge Bomb attack earlier. However, just before Nidoking unleashed its Fire Blast it was consumed by the Spacial Rend and disappeared in the swirl of energy. Scizor then floated above Arceus X and the remaining 12 plates and looked around wondering where Nidoking went. Krystal’s shiny Lucario seemed to sense something and then used Extreme Speed to move quickly through space, grab Scizor, and then pull it away as a portal from Spacial Rend appeared with Fire Blast coming out. The Fire Blast would’ve hit Scizor if Lucario hadn’t rescued it.
Vik: “Dude, that was a close call. Thanks Krystal and Lucario.” Krystal just brushed her bangs to one side and gave Vik a thumbs up while Chatot spoke for her.
Chatot: “You’re welcome Rick.”
Gwen: “Gardevoir, use Psychic to take control of Nidoking’s Fire Blast and send it towards the plates.” Gwen’s Gardevoir used its psychic powers to freeze the Fire Blast and then split it into three fireballs. The fireballs then flew and struck the Icicle, Meadow, and Insect plates. Arceus X graoned and then stared straight at Gardevoir.
Arceus X: “No chance! You hear me? You all have NO CHANCE TO WIN!” After yelling at Gardevoir Arceus X used the Dread Plate to change into its Dark Type form and fired five balls of Judgment. The five black energy balls flew at high speeds and hit Gardevoir with explosive results.
Gwen: “Gardevoir, no!” Gardevoir fell and hit the space station. The space station itself was floating downward and away from the battle.
Shade: “That slime ball. Picking on Gardevoir’s weakness is absurd. Darkrai, fire an Ice Beam at the Draco Plate!” Shade’s shiny Darkrai flew in and charged blue energy in its hands. Then Arceus X looked on and saw it coming. Then it used the cracked fist plate to change into the fighting form.
Arceus X: “No mercy, Shade.”
Shade: “Just the way I like it.” Suddenly Vik’s shiny Scizor flew in with white energy streaks around its body.
Arceus X: “Aerial Ace?” Scizor charged at high speed into the Fist plate and shattered it. Arceus X lost his concentration and reverted back into Arceus’ normal form. Then Darkrai fired the Ice Beam from its hands and shot the Draco Plate. Arceus X seemed to tumble over and slumped in the air. His forelegs stretched out in the vastness of space and the remaining nine plates began to fade. Inside the space station the trainers began cheering for their Pokémon.
Brad: “Alright. This is working. Skarmory Brave Bird on the Insect Plate!”
Vik: “Scizor, team up and use Aerial Ace on the Meadow Plate!” Scizor was floating above Arceus X from using the last Aerial Ace. It dived down toward the Meadow plate with the white energy streaks surrounding it again. Brad’s shiny Skarmory then flew in with a blue fiery aura surrounding it. Both closed in on Arceus X and its plates.
Arceus X: “This same tactic again. You trainers need better strategy.” With that Arceus X used Spacial Rend. Scizor and Skarmory were swallowed up into the swirl of pink and purple energy.
Brad: “Be on guard people. They could appear anywhere.” At that moment Gardevoir and Salamance, who were resting on the cold steel walls outside the space station looked up and saw a spark of energy. Then it expanded and Skarmory and Scizor tumbled out of it while losing control of their attacks. They hit the space station and the worst happened; they tore open a hole in the steel wall with their attacks. Vik and Krystal had to run before Skarmory and Scizor crashed onto the floor near all the trainers. Air began being sucked out of the room like a vacuum.
Lucas: “We’re losing air! We’re gonna die!”
Chase: “No we won’t. We gotta plug up that hole!”
Lucas: “How?!”
Gwen: “Quick Chase and Lucas, release your 5th generation Pokémon now!” Chase and Lucas looked at each other but then Gwen had to yell louder at them. “JUST DO IT BOYS!” Chase and Lucas nodded and did as Gwen asked.
Lucas: “Smojinn, I chose you.”
Chase: “Come on out Golquake!” Lucas’ purple genie pokemon and Chase’s Golquake appeared. Golquake was still breathing heavily from all the fatigue from its previous battle.
Gwen: “Now Gardevoir, use Psychic to lift Golquake and cover the hole. Hurry before our air supply runs out!” Gardevoir Teleported into the room and stood next to Gwen. Then its eyes glowed blue and Golquake was lifted into the air and then hovered near the hole in the wall. Golquake was more then twice the size of the hole but it still covered it with its curved shell.
Chase: “I get it. Golquake has a steel shell. We’re going to use Smojinn’s fire attacks to weld Golquake’s shell into the wall and preserve our air supply.” Gwen nodded.
Gwen: “Yes but I’m afraid Golquake may not be able to be recalled into your PRi ever again Chase.” Chase gasped in shock. In the short time he’s had Golquake he wasn’t sure if he was willing to release it. As Golquake was set into the hole air could be heard hissing through the tiny spaces.
Arceus X: “Desperate to survive are we? Well I’ll finish you off here and now!”
AJ: “Not so fast! Salamance use Hydro Pump on the Flame Plate!” Salamance launched a jet stream of water from its mouth and skillfully hit the Flame Plate, causing it to gain double the cracks from it received from Nidoking’s Earthquake.
Gwen: “OK Lucas, now have Smojinn use that Fire Wall attack to weld Golquake in place.”
Lucas: “You heard her Smojinn. Do it!” Smojinn lit its hands on fire and then projected a wall of flame and pushed it onto Golquake. Golquake cried out in pain.
Chase: “Hang in there Golquake. You’ve got to hang on for the rest of the team!” Golquake continued to cry out in pain. It began thrashing about with its limbs. Smojinn then got hit with one of Golquake’s claws, which was as big as its face. Smojinn was knocked down to the ground.
Lucas: “Give it everything you got Smojinn! Fire Wall!” Smojinn listened to Lucas and then lit its entire body on fire. Everyone gasped in awe as they saw Smojinn turn from purple to red. Then the genie Pokémon floated to Golquake and it infused its burning body with Golquake. Suddenly Golquake stopped and just froze there not moving or crying out. Smojinn’s body seemed to be fading and then Golquake closed its eyes. The steel wall behind them turned red hot but it done it. Smojinn welded Golquake’s shell to the wall and stopped the air from escaping. Golquake also seemed to have the silver on its body fading and the gold bands around the ankles of its limbs and claws also seem to be fading.
Amy: “Are they… dying?”
Lucas: “No way.”
AJ: “That is just… bizarre.” Chase and Lucas looked at their PRi screens and saw that Smojinn’s and Golquake’s HP bars and status have disappeared.
Gwen: “Smojinn must have used up all of its life force energy to drain Golquake’s. It looks like the result was too much for either of them.” Gardevoir looked on in awe. Scizor and Skarmory cried out in sorrow as well. Chase tilted his head down.
Chase: “Goodbye Golquake.” Lucas placed his left hand on his heart as he closed his eyes.
Lucas: “Thanks Smojinn.”
Arceus X: “How bittersweet.” Everyone looked up and saw Arceus X with ten cracked plates. It seemed that he had recovered some energy and was ready for the next round of battles. “Those were prototype Pokémon anyway. It’s not like they’ll make it into Pokémon Black and White Versions.”
Gwen: “Gardevoir, Teleport and then use Shadow Ball on the Mind Plate.”
Brad: “Take Scizor and Skarmory with you!” Gardevoir, Scizor, and Skarmory teleported our of the room and then they reappeared on Arceus X’s back. Gardevoir then summoned a blast of shadow energy and damaged the Mind Plate.
Arceus X: “Gardevoir, you’re mine!” Gardevoir looked to its right and saw a light green Judgment sphere hit it. It came from the Insect Plate.
Vik & Brad: “Counter Arceus X now!” Skarmory and Scizor flew in with Brave Bird and Aerial Ace.
Arceus X: “Oh no you don’t.” Suddenly Arceus X felt a surge of energy flow through him and he was unable to move. “What?” Arceus X looked up and saw Gallade with its eyes glowing white. It was using Disable to freeze him. Gallade smiled as it watch Scizor smash the Insect plate and Skarmory’s Brave Bird impacting the Meadow Plate causing a fragment of it to break off. Arceus X then used the Flame Plate to summon another Judgement Sphere.
Vik: “Scizor, heads up!” Scizor reacted too slow! The fireball hit Scizor and exploded on impact with flames and smoke.
Chase: “Quick Nidoking, use Stone Edge on the Flame Plate.” Nidoking generated shards of rock and then fired them at the Flame Plate. The plate shattered to tiny pieces and Arceus X cried out in pain. Suddenly Arceus X glowed pink for a moment as he seemed to struggle to stay in the Transformed Arceus.
Gwen: “It’s working just like Jason said. He’s losing his ability to hold the Transformation.”
AJ: “Salamance, another Hydro Pump! This time aim for the Stone Plate!” Salamance’s Hydro Pump shot across the space between it and Arceus X. Arceus saw the attack coming and tried to dodge it, but instead the Hydro Pump hit the Earth Plate.
Shade: “Darkrai, Ice Beam on the Earth Plate!”
Lucas: “Gallade, Leaf Blade!” Darkrai flew in close range to Arceus X and fired another Ice Beam from its hands. The Earth plate gain a massive crack that stretched diagonally from one corner to another. Then Gallade Teleported near the Earth Plate with its left blade arm glowing green. Gallade hit the plate and made it shatter to even tinier fragments. The trainers cheered as Arceus X groaned and glowed pink again. Only five Plates remained! The celebration cut short as Brad knelt down.
Brad: “Hey, anyone else feeling light headed.” Suddenly everyone feel quiet.
Chase: “Now that you mention it, yeah, I’m feeling tired and a little weak.”
Shade: “Our oxygen supply must be reaching its limit.”
Gwen: “Gardevoir, return over here.” Gwen’s Gardevoir did as it was told and Teleported to Gwen’s side.
Amy: “So what do you have in mind?”
Gwen: “We need to evacuate and return to Earth. Gardevoir and I are done. There are no more plates we can hit with our attacks. We’ll take you home one by one.”
Chase: “We don’t live here.”
Jason: “But I have a PRi capable of summoning Celebi!” Everyone was surprised to see Jason.
Shade: “What a surprise. You’re still alive?”
Jason: “Those two Pokémon Xero released, Liquoid and Volcanoid appeared and did something unexpected. They repaired the Space Station by fusing their two bodies and creating a stone barrier to block the air from escaping. Then Regigigas and Metagrosss sealed the hallway and the two Pokémon were sucked out into space. I have a feeling we’ll never see those Pokémon ever again.”
Chase: “Wow, so did you reprogram our PRi’s so that we can summon our legendary Pokémon?” Jason held out another PRi.
Jason: “I have Xero’s PRi right here and his is reprogrammed to digitize a Celebi from the games. I never wanted you and your friends to have the PRi’s in the first place Chase. You are the one who ruined my Team Chaos Operation in the past so why should I help you? On the other hand, Xero is our true enemy. So since the enemy of my enemy is my friend I’ll gladly send you and your friends home after Xero is finished.”
Chase: “So be it. Nidoking, use Stone Edge on the Insect Plate!” Nidoking fired more stone shards at Arceus X. Then it was joined by Scizor flying in with its claws glowing light green.
Vik: “Ready Scizor? X-Scissor on the Meadow Plate!” The stone shards smashed into the Insect Plate and it shattered. Then Scizor sliced the severly cracked Meadow Plate it was sliced apart into four triangles and then disintegrated. Arceus X’s body began to fade and one of the yellow arches attatched to its body turned into the pink blob form of Ditto. Arceus X had only had five plates remaining but its power was already fading.
Arceus X: “Err… I refuse… to lose like this. I have all the power… I have all the abilities… I have the ultimate attacks…”
Chase: “But you’ll always lose…”
Vik: “… to us because true Pokémon power…”
AJ: “… comes from friendship…”
Lucas: “… and faith in each other.” Arceus X chuckled.
Arceus X: “I could care less about your friendship!” Arceus X transformed into its Dark Type. Then it fired seven spheres of Judgement. Nidoking and Salamance were hit and sent flying and crashing into the space station. Lucario, Gallade, and Darkrai skillfully dodged the other attacks.
Gwen: “We’re leaving. Krystal shall we go?” Krystal nodded and then signaled her Lucario to return. Gardevoir used Teleport to bring it back.
Chatot: “Do we have to leave? Chatot wanted to get back at Xero for the last battle.”
Lucas: “You mean with Giratina Origin Forme?” Chatot screamed and then ducked under Luxray who was still using Flash to illuminate the room. Krystal had to walk over and pick up Chatot by his black metronome shaped tail. She then recalled her Lucario into her PRi.
Gwen: “Relax Chatot. When we get home you can have a snack.” Chatot then flapped his wings with excitement.
Chatot: “Ooh, is it sweet n’ sour Poffin time again?”
Chase, Lucas, & AJ: “NO!” Gwen and Krystal chuckled.
Gwen: “Good luck with the rest of battle boys. Gardevoir, Teleport!”
Chase: “Thanks for your help Krystal. Nice knowing you.”
Chase: “So long Chase Kisser!” Chase was about to correct Chatot on his last name but Chatot, its trainer, Gardevoir, and Gwen disappeared at that moment. Lucas smirked at hearing Chatot’s last joke.
Chase: “Good riddance.” Then Chase heard his Nidoking roar and saw that it was still trying to avoid Arceus’ attacks.
Shade: “Darkrai, use Dark Void!” Dark Void formed black energy balls that swallowed up the Judgment spheres. It was the first time anyone saw Darkrai use its signature attack defensively.
Jason: “Five plates left; the Dread, Stone, Draco, Sky, and Icicle Plates.”
Chase: “Let’s smash ‘em up!”
Arceus X: “Do you really think you’ll destroy my remaining plates like you have done the others? Roar of Time!” Arceus X let out a stream of crystal blue energy that hit Nidoking and Darkrai. The two Pokémon became frozen in time and stopped moving.
Jason: “Freezing their Pokémon, clever Xero.”
Arceus X: “I thank you for teaching me that trick with your Dialga Jason.”
Vik: “Too bad you left yourself wide open! Scizor use X-Scissor on the Dread Plate!”
Brad: “Skarmory, use Steel Wing on the Icicle Plate!” Once again Skarmory and Scizor tag teamed Arceus X and swiftly flew by and smashed their designated plates. The two plates were destroyed on impact from the attacks. Suddenly Gwen and Gardevoir reappeared in the Space Station.
Gwen: “Jason, you’re next!” Jason nodded.
Jason: “I’ll wait with Celebi back down on Earth for you and your friends Chase. My way of saying thanks and good riddance once you’ve all returned from this battle.” Chase could tell Jason was still holding a grudge against him, but he nodded and Gwen, Gardevoir, and Jason disappeared. Then he looked back at Nidoking and Darkrai, who were still frozen from Roar of Time’s effect. After Scizor and Skarmory flew away from Arceus X and his three remaining plates Slamance flew in with Gallade riding on its back. Both of Gallade’s arms were glowing green this time.
Lucas: “Show Xero who’s boss! Leaf Blade attack!” Gallade jumped up from Salamace’s back who were now flying beneath Arceus X’s body where the stone plate was. Gallade slashed the plate and multiple scracks appeared from where Gallade hit it. Then it Teleported away as Salamance blasted the Stone Plate with Hydro Pump. It cracked even more, but still held together. Arceus X then fired a Judgement sphere from that plate and it hit Salamance really hard.
Lucas: “No! Come on we’re so close!” Just then Gwen and Gardevoir reappeared and she placed her hand on Shade’s shoulder.
Gwen: “Time to go.”
Shade: “Not yet! I still have a score to settle with Xero!” Gwen looked and saw that Luxray’s flash was growing dimmer and that his Darkari was frozen in time.
Gwen: “You don’t look like you’re in a position to battle. Besides, let Chase and his friends handle this.”
Shade: “Like they could. Besides, Darkrai has Ice Beam which we need to destroy the Sky and Draco Plates.”
AJ: “Hey Shade, no worries. Watch this. Salamance, use Hidden Power!” Salamance’s body glowed with blue energy and then formed energy balls orbiting it. Then Salamance roared and sent the Hidden Power attack at both the Sky and Draco Plates. The two plates shattered and Arceus X yelled in pain once again. The other yellow arch attatched to his body turned pink. He began to look more and more like a Ditto instead of an Arceus.
Gwen: “See? They can handle it. All that’s left is the Stone Plate.”
Shade: “Fine. Keep up the good work Chase.” With that Shade, Dakrai, Gardevoir, and Gwen disappeared, but Luxray remained and kept the Flash attack going. Chase and his friends looked at the white and pink Arceus with just the cracked stone plate remaining.
Chase: “You’re finished Xero! One attack is all it’ll take to defeat you.” Arceus X looked toward Chase and his friends and chuckled evilly.
Arceus X: “Is that what you believe?”
Brad: “We’ll prove it to you right now. Skarmory, use Steel Wing!” Brad’s Skarmory flew in with its wings glowing.
Arceus X: “I maybe down for the count but I’m taking you and your friends with me Chase Fisher!” With that Arceus began to create two energy spheres.
Lucas: “What’s he doing?”
Brad: “Skarmory, faster!” Brad’s Skarmory couldn’t fly any faster. Then Arceus X formed two heads of our clear energy. They were Dialga and Palkia’s heads and they roared. Was Arceus X bringing the legendary Pokémon to life? Brad’s Skarmory was just a few yards away from the final plate.
Arceus X: “Well played Chase, Lucas, AJ, and Vik. However I say we call this overall game a draw.” Skarmory finally hit and shattered the Stone Plate with Steel Wing but it was too late. “Roar of Time! Spacial Rend!” The Dialga and Palkia heads fired the two attack and they were both aimed at the Space Station!
Arceus X then screamed in pain from losing the last plate. His entire body glowed pink but since Roar of Time and Spacial Rend were heading to the Space Station no one saw what happened to Xero after losing his grip on the Arceus Transformation. The Dialga and Palkia heads also disappeared. All Chase and the others saw were the stream of crystal energy and swirl of purple and pink energy heading straight for them. Everyone felt their hearts pumping rapidly, telling them that they were facing their certain deaths.
Chase (thinking): You gotta be kidding me! We were so close!
AJ (thinking): I always hated Team Chaos and everyone involved in it!
Vik (thinking): I never got to date a girl!
Brad (thinking): So much for a rescue mission.
Amy (thinking): Where’s Gwen when we need her?
Lucas: “GALLADE HEEEEEEEEEEELP!” The two attacks hit the space station. Everyone who was inside it didin’t feel any pain. They didin’t feel anything. It was all over in a flash.
Back down on Earth Gwen and Gardevoir were at the ruins of Team Chaos’ old base. They were with Shade, Krystal, and Jason. They were preparing to Teleport and rescue Chase and the other when suddenly they looked up to the sky and saw a bright flash of light followed by yellow flames.
Jason: “The Space Station! Xero must’ve destroyed it!” Gardevoir had its eyes closed and Gwen looked at it.
Gwen: “Can you sense any of the Pokemon belonging to Lucas and his friends?” After thirty seconds Gardevoir looked at Gwen and then shook its head.
Chatot: “They’re dead.” Krystal yanked one of Chatot’s green tail feathers for Chatot’s lack of faith. Gwen collapsed to the ground and covered her face with her hands.
Gwen: “Oh no. They lost our battle against Xero. We’ve lost them.” Shade walked over to Gwen and got her back up to her feet. He then looked Gwen in the eyes.
Shade: “That pest Lucas was your grandfather from the past, right? Well if you’re still standing here then I guess he and his friends still survived.” Gwen wiped a tear from her face. It was the first time she had seen Shade act so sentimental.
Gwen: “Thank you Shade.” Then she kissed him on his cheek. “Now I just wish I knew what happened up there.”
Jason: “I don’t know and I don’t care.”
Chatot: “So is Team Chaos finished?” Krystal stood there with Chatot sitting on her shoulder. Then she kicked a glass shard from the Battle Simulation room’s ceiling.
Jason: “Afraid so. Xero got his desire after all. Team Chaos is now finished forever.” Jason then began walking away.
Shade: “Well I guess it’s back to the runaway lifestyle for me.”
Gwen: “Why? You could stay with me. After all I still care about you Matthew and unlike you I graduated High School.” Gwen kept her eyes locked on Shade’s hoping he’d say yes.
Shade: “Fine, but please keep calling me Shade… for now.” Gwen smiled. Then she looked up at the night sky.
Gwen: “Thanks everyone, and farewell.” Up in the vastness of space there was scrap metal and debris from the Space Station’s explosion. Nothing from the Pokémon Battle was left behind at all, not even the pink blob of a Ditto’s body. When the final plate shattered Xero lost all control over Arceus’ body and powers. He didin’t revert into his Ditto form either. Jason and the other remaining members of Team Chaos never saw or heard of Xero ever again.

Chapter 26: Goodbye 5th Generation, Farewell to all
Air rushed past Jason out the torn hallway as Regigigas and Metagross worked together to seal off the newly made exit. Regigigas used it immense strength to bend the steel of the hallways inward and make the hole smaller while Metagross did the same. Jason crouched down in a nook to avoid being sucked out into space and suffer a horrifying death. He was feeling light headed, but the air pressure inside the Space Station was slowly stabilizing so he knew he’d make it. Then he heard footsteps and saw two creatures approaching. One with a body made of lava and the other made of clear blue liquid.
Jason (thinking): Oh no, Xero’s prototype Pokèmon. Volcanoid and Liquoid. What now?
Meanwhile, back at the Life Force chamber all the other trainers on board tried to continue their battle with Xero. The Space Station had lost all its electrical power so all the lights had turned off. Since the window didn’t have the sun anywhere in view it was pitch black inside the chamber. The only light they had came from the screens of their PRi’s and cell phones.
Shade: “Luxray, come on out and use Flash!” In the pitch black darkness the bright flash from the Luxray’s summon nearly blinded anyone who looked directly at it.
Luxray: “Lux. Lux-raaaaaaaaaayyyy!” Luxray glowed white and then light expanded from Luxray’s body and it generated enough light for everyone to see the lower level of the chamber but the ceiling was still dark. Luxray’s Flash probably had the range of a common street light.
Chase: “Didn’t think an emo guy like you Shade would carry a Pokèmon that knows Flash.”
Shade: “Shut up.” Everyone heard Salamance and Nidoking cry out. They all looked out and saw that they were avoiding more energy blasts from Arceus X’s Judgement attack. The 13 remaining plates were all glowing and firing even more Judgement spheres.
Gwen: “I need some cover boys. Gardevoir, use Thunderbolt on all of the plates!”
Chase: “Nidoking, use Sludge Bomb!”
Lucas: “Gallade, Psycho Cut!”
Shade: “Darkrai, use Dark Pulse!”
AJ: “Salamance, Draco Meteor!” The boys’ Pokémon teamed up and fired an array of sludge blobs, orange and blue meteors, blades of psychic energy, and a stream of dark energy to intercept all of the 13 Judgment spheres. Then Gardevoir floated toward Arceus X who was still in the ???-type form. Gardevoir looked at the ugly lime green arches attached to Arceus’ body and the 13 remaining plates. Then its body sparked with electricity and it let loose the Thunderbolt.
Arceus X: “Ah, you pests. I… cannot…” The Splash and Sky plates cracked as Arceus X tried to fight off its pain. “…lose to you like this.” Suddenly Lucas’ Gallade appeared on Arceus’ back with its left blade arm glowing green. Gallade had its eyes locked onto the cracked Splash Plate.
Lucas: “Let him have it Gallade! Use Leaf Blade!” Gallade jumped up and then swung its left arm down diagonally and it cut right through the Splash Plate. The two pieces of the plate then cracked apart even more and then shattered. Gallade Teleported away before Arceus X had a chance to try to attack it.
Arceus X: “Oh, this can’t be happening.” Suddenly the ugly colors of the ???-type form began to fade and for a second, everyone saw Arceus’ normal colors return and then changed back to the ???-type form.
Vik: “Scizor, X-Scissor on the Meadow Plate!”
Chase: “Nidoking, team up with Scizor and use Fire Blast on the same Plate!” Arceus X looked up and saw a Shiny Scizor flying at it with its claws glowing with a bright green light while a Nidoking behing it had an opened mouth with flames bursting out. Arceus X then formed pink and purple energy swirls around Nidoking.
Arceus X: “You fools haven’t won yet! Spacial Rend!” Scizor managed to fly in and slice the Meadow Plate, leaving two huge slanted clacked in the plate along with the other cracks from the Sludge Bomb attack earlier. However, just before Nidoking unleashed its Fire Blast it was consumed by the Spacial Rend and disappeared in the swirl of energy. Scizor then floated above Arceus X and the remaining 12 plates and looked around wondering where Nidoking went. Krystal’s shiny Lucario seemed to sense something and then used Extreme Speed to move quickly through space, grab Scizor, and then pull it away as a portal from Spacial Rend appeared with Fire Blast coming out. The Fire Blast would’ve hit Scizor if Lucario hadn’t rescued it.
Vik: “Dude, that was a close call. Thanks Krystal and Lucario.” Krystal just brushed her bangs to one side and gave Vik a thumbs up while Chatot spoke for her.
Chatot: “You’re welcome Rick.”
Gwen: “Gardevoir, use Psychic to take control of Nidoking’s Fire Blast and send it towards the plates.” Gwen’s Gardevoir used its psychic powers to freeze the Fire Blast and then split it into three fireballs. The fireballs then flew and struck the Icicle, Meadow, and Insect plates. Arceus X graoned and then stared straight at Gardevoir.
Arceus X: “No chance! You hear me? You all have NO CHANCE TO WIN!” After yelling at Gardevoir Arceus X used the Dread Plate to change into its Dark Type form and fired five balls of Judgment. The five black energy balls flew at high speeds and hit Gardevoir with explosive results.
Gwen: “Gardevoir, no!” Gardevoir fell and hit the space station. The space station itself was floating downward and away from the battle.
Shade: “That slime ball. Picking on Gardevoir’s weakness is absurd. Darkrai, fire an Ice Beam at the Draco Plate!” Shade’s shiny Darkrai flew in and charged blue energy in its hands. Then Arceus X looked on and saw it coming. Then it used the cracked fist plate to change into the fighting form.
Arceus X: “No mercy, Shade.”
Shade: “Just the way I like it.” Suddenly Vik’s shiny Scizor flew in with white energy streaks around its body.
Arceus X: “Aerial Ace?” Scizor charged at high speed into the Fist plate and shattered it. Arceus X lost his concentration and reverted back into Arceus’ normal form. Then Darkrai fired the Ice Beam from its hands and shot the Draco Plate. Arceus X seemed to tumble over and slumped in the air. His forelegs stretched out in the vastness of space and the remaining nine plates began to fade. Inside the space station the trainers began cheering for their Pokémon.
Brad: “Alright. This is working. Skarmory Brave Bird on the Insect Plate!”
Vik: “Scizor, team up and use Aerial Ace on the Meadow Plate!” Scizor was floating above Arceus X from using the last Aerial Ace. It dived down toward the Meadow plate with the white energy streaks surrounding it again. Brad’s shiny Skarmory then flew in with a blue fiery aura surrounding it. Both closed in on Arceus X and its plates.
Arceus X: “This same tactic again. You trainers need better strategy.” With that Arceus X used Spacial Rend. Scizor and Skarmory were swallowed up into the swirl of pink and purple energy.
Brad: “Be on guard people. They could appear anywhere.” At that moment Gardevoir and Salamance, who were resting on the cold steel walls outside the space station looked up and saw a spark of energy. Then it expanded and Skarmory and Scizor tumbled out of it while losing control of their attacks. They hit the space station and the worst happened; they tore open a hole in the steel wall with their attacks. Vik and Krystal had to run before Skarmory and Scizor crashed onto the floor near all the trainers. Air began being sucked out of the room like a vacuum.
Lucas: “We’re losing air! We’re gonna die!”
Chase: “No we won’t. We gotta plug up that hole!”
Lucas: “How?!”
Gwen: “Quick Chase and Lucas, release your 5th generation Pokémon now!” Chase and Lucas looked at each other but then Gwen had to yell louder at them. “JUST DO IT BOYS!” Chase and Lucas nodded and did as Gwen asked.
Lucas: “Smojinn, I chose you.”
Chase: “Come on out Golquake!” Lucas’ purple genie pokemon and Chase’s Golquake appeared. Golquake was still breathing heavily from all the fatigue from its previous battle.
Gwen: “Now Gardevoir, use Psychic to lift Golquake and cover the hole. Hurry before our air supply runs out!” Gardevoir Teleported into the room and stood next to Gwen. Then its eyes glowed blue and Golquake was lifted into the air and then hovered near the hole in the wall. Golquake was more then twice the size of the hole but it still covered it with its curved shell.
Chase: “I get it. Golquake has a steel shell. We’re going to use Smojinn’s fire attacks to weld Golquake’s shell into the wall and preserve our air supply.” Gwen nodded.
Gwen: “Yes but I’m afraid Golquake may not be able to be recalled into your PRi ever again Chase.” Chase gasped in shock. In the short time he’s had Golquake he wasn’t sure if he was willing to release it. As Golquake was set into the hole air could be heard hissing through the tiny spaces.
Arceus X: “Desperate to survive are we? Well I’ll finish you off here and now!”
AJ: “Not so fast! Salamance use Hydro Pump on the Flame Plate!” Salamance launched a jet stream of water from its mouth and skillfully hit the Flame Plate, causing it to gain double the cracks from it received from Nidoking’s Earthquake.
Gwen: “OK Lucas, now have Smojinn use that Fire Wall attack to weld Golquake in place.”
Lucas: “You heard her Smojinn. Do it!” Smojinn lit its hands on fire and then projected a wall of flame and pushed it onto Golquake. Golquake cried out in pain.
Chase: “Hang in there Golquake. You’ve got to hang on for the rest of the team!” Golquake continued to cry out in pain. It began thrashing about with its limbs. Smojinn then got hit with one of Golquake’s claws, which was as big as its face. Smojinn was knocked down to the ground.
Lucas: “Give it everything you got Smojinn! Fire Wall!” Smojinn listened to Lucas and then lit its entire body on fire. Everyone gasped in awe as they saw Smojinn turn from purple to red. Then the genie Pokémon floated to Golquake and it infused its burning body with Golquake. Suddenly Golquake stopped and just froze there not moving or crying out. Smojinn’s body seemed to be fading and then Golquake closed its eyes. The steel wall behind them turned red hot but it done it. Smojinn welded Golquake’s shell to the wall and stopped the air from escaping. Golquake also seemed to have the silver on its body fading and the gold bands around the ankles of its limbs and claws also seem to be fading.
Amy: “Are they… dying?”
Lucas: “No way.”
AJ: “That is just… bizarre.” Chase and Lucas looked at their PRi screens and saw that Smojinn’s and Golquake’s HP bars and status have disappeared.
Gwen: “Smojinn must have used up all of its life force energy to drain Golquake’s. It looks like the result was too much for either of them.” Gardevoir looked on in awe. Scizor and Skarmory cried out in sorrow as well. Chase tilted his head down.
Chase: “Goodbye Golquake.” Lucas placed his left hand on his heart as he closed his eyes.
Lucas: “Thanks Smojinn.”
Arceus X: “How bittersweet.” Everyone looked up and saw Arceus X with ten cracked plates. It seemed that he had recovered some energy and was ready for the next round of battles. “Those were prototype Pokémon anyway. It’s not like they’ll make it into Pokémon Black and White Versions.”
Gwen: “Gardevoir, Teleport and then use Shadow Ball on the Mind Plate.”
Brad: “Take Scizor and Skarmory with you!” Gardevoir, Scizor, and Skarmory teleported our of the room and then they reappeared on Arceus X’s back. Gardevoir then summoned a blast of shadow energy and damaged the Mind Plate.
Arceus X: “Gardevoir, you’re mine!” Gardevoir looked to its right and saw a light green Judgment sphere hit it. It came from the Insect Plate.
Vik & Brad: “Counter Arceus X now!” Skarmory and Scizor flew in with Brave Bird and Aerial Ace.
Arceus X: “Oh no you don’t.” Suddenly Arceus X felt a surge of energy flow through him and he was unable to move. “What?” Arceus X looked up and saw Gallade with its eyes glowing white. It was using Disable to freeze him. Gallade smiled as it watch Scizor smash the Insect plate and Skarmory’s Brave Bird impacting the Meadow Plate causing a fragment of it to break off. Arceus X then used the Flame Plate to summon another Judgement Sphere.
Vik: “Scizor, heads up!” Scizor reacted too slow! The fireball hit Scizor and exploded on impact with flames and smoke.
Chase: “Quick Nidoking, use Stone Edge on the Flame Plate.” Nidoking generated shards of rock and then fired them at the Flame Plate. The plate shattered to tiny pieces and Arceus X cried out in pain. Suddenly Arceus X glowed pink for a moment as he seemed to struggle to stay in the Transformed Arceus.
Gwen: “It’s working just like Jason said. He’s losing his ability to hold the Transformation.”
AJ: “Salamance, another Hydro Pump! This time aim for the Stone Plate!” Salamance’s Hydro Pump shot across the space between it and Arceus X. Arceus saw the attack coming and tried to dodge it, but instead the Hydro Pump hit the Earth Plate.
Shade: “Darkrai, Ice Beam on the Earth Plate!”
Lucas: “Gallade, Leaf Blade!” Darkrai flew in close range to Arceus X and fired another Ice Beam from its hands. The Earth plate gain a massive crack that stretched diagonally from one corner to another. Then Gallade Teleported near the Earth Plate with its left blade arm glowing green. Gallade hit the plate and made it shatter to even tinier fragments. The trainers cheered as Arceus X groaned and glowed pink again. Only five Plates remained! The celebration cut short as Brad knelt down.
Brad: “Hey, anyone else feeling light headed.” Suddenly everyone feel quiet.
Chase: “Now that you mention it, yeah, I’m feeling tired and a little weak.”
Shade: “Our oxygen supply must be reaching its limit.”
Gwen: “Gardevoir, return over here.” Gwen’s Gardevoir did as it was told and Teleported to Gwen’s side.
Amy: “So what do you have in mind?”
Gwen: “We need to evacuate and return to Earth. Gardevoir and I are done. There are no more plates we can hit with our attacks. We’ll take you home one by one.”
Chase: “We don’t live here.”
Jason: “But I have a PRi capable of summoning Celebi!” Everyone was surprised to see Jason.
Shade: “What a surprise. You’re still alive?”
Jason: “Those two Pokémon Xero released, Liquoid and Volcanoid appeared and did something unexpected. They repaired the Space Station by fusing their two bodies and creating a stone barrier to block the air from escaping. Then Regigigas and Metagrosss sealed the hallway and the two Pokémon were sucked out into space. I have a feeling we’ll never see those Pokémon ever again.”
Chase: “Wow, so did you reprogram our PRi’s so that we can summon our legendary Pokémon?” Jason held out another PRi.
Jason: “I have Xero’s PRi right here and his is reprogrammed to digitize a Celebi from the games. I never wanted you and your friends to have the PRi’s in the first place Chase. You are the one who ruined my Team Chaos Operation in the past so why should I help you? On the other hand, Xero is our true enemy. So since the enemy of my enemy is my friend I’ll gladly send you and your friends home after Xero is finished.”
Chase: “So be it. Nidoking, use Stone Edge on the Insect Plate!” Nidoking fired more stone shards at Arceus X. Then it was joined by Scizor flying in with its claws glowing light green.
Vik: “Ready Scizor? X-Scissor on the Meadow Plate!” The stone shards smashed into the Insect Plate and it shattered. Then Scizor sliced the severly cracked Meadow Plate it was sliced apart into four triangles and then disintegrated. Arceus X’s body began to fade and one of the yellow arches attatched to its body turned into the pink blob form of Ditto. Arceus X had only had five plates remaining but its power was already fading.
Arceus X: “Err… I refuse… to lose like this. I have all the power… I have all the abilities… I have the ultimate attacks…”
Chase: “But you’ll always lose…”
Vik: “… to us because true Pokémon power…”
AJ: “… comes from friendship…”
Lucas: “… and faith in each other.” Arceus X chuckled.
Arceus X: “I could care less about your friendship!” Arceus X transformed into its Dark Type. Then it fired seven spheres of Judgement. Nidoking and Salamance were hit and sent flying and crashing into the space station. Lucario, Gallade, and Darkrai skillfully dodged the other attacks.
Gwen: “We’re leaving. Krystal shall we go?” Krystal nodded and then signaled her Lucario to return. Gardevoir used Teleport to bring it back.
Chatot: “Do we have to leave? Chatot wanted to get back at Xero for the last battle.”
Lucas: “You mean with Giratina Origin Forme?” Chatot screamed and then ducked under Luxray who was still using Flash to illuminate the room. Krystal had to walk over and pick up Chatot by his black metronome shaped tail. She then recalled her Lucario into her PRi.
Gwen: “Relax Chatot. When we get home you can have a snack.” Chatot then flapped his wings with excitement.
Chatot: “Ooh, is it sweet n’ sour Poffin time again?”
Chase, Lucas, & AJ: “NO!” Gwen and Krystal chuckled.
Gwen: “Good luck with the rest of battle boys. Gardevoir, Teleport!”
Chase: “Thanks for your help Krystal. Nice knowing you.”
Chase: “So long Chase Kisser!” Chase was about to correct Chatot on his last name but Chatot, its trainer, Gardevoir, and Gwen disappeared at that moment. Lucas smirked at hearing Chatot’s last joke.
Chase: “Good riddance.” Then Chase heard his Nidoking roar and saw that it was still trying to avoid Arceus’ attacks.
Shade: “Darkrai, use Dark Void!” Dark Void formed black energy balls that swallowed up the Judgment spheres. It was the first time anyone saw Darkrai use its signature attack defensively.
Jason: “Five plates left; the Dread, Stone, Draco, Sky, and Icicle Plates.”
Chase: “Let’s smash ‘em up!”
Arceus X: “Do you really think you’ll destroy my remaining plates like you have done the others? Roar of Time!” Arceus X let out a stream of crystal blue energy that hit Nidoking and Darkrai. The two Pokémon became frozen in time and stopped moving.
Jason: “Freezing their Pokémon, clever Xero.”
Arceus X: “I thank you for teaching me that trick with your Dialga Jason.”
Vik: “Too bad you left yourself wide open! Scizor use X-Scissor on the Dread Plate!”
Brad: “Skarmory, use Steel Wing on the Icicle Plate!” Once again Skarmory and Scizor tag teamed Arceus X and swiftly flew by and smashed their designated plates. The two plates were destroyed on impact from the attacks. Suddenly Gwen and Gardevoir reappeared in the Space Station.
Gwen: “Jason, you’re next!” Jason nodded.
Jason: “I’ll wait with Celebi back down on Earth for you and your friends Chase. My way of saying thanks and good riddance once you’ve all returned from this battle.” Chase could tell Jason was still holding a grudge against him, but he nodded and Gwen, Gardevoir, and Jason disappeared. Then he looked back at Nidoking and Darkrai, who were still frozen from Roar of Time’s effect. After Scizor and Skarmory flew away from Arceus X and his three remaining plates Slamance flew in with Gallade riding on its back. Both of Gallade’s arms were glowing green this time.
Lucas: “Show Xero who’s boss! Leaf Blade attack!” Gallade jumped up from Salamace’s back who were now flying beneath Arceus X’s body where the stone plate was. Gallade slashed the plate and multiple scracks appeared from where Gallade hit it. Then it Teleported away as Salamance blasted the Stone Plate with Hydro Pump. It cracked even more, but still held together. Arceus X then fired a Judgement sphere from that plate and it hit Salamance really hard.
Lucas: “No! Come on we’re so close!” Just then Gwen and Gardevoir reappeared and she placed her hand on Shade’s shoulder.
Gwen: “Time to go.”
Shade: “Not yet! I still have a score to settle with Xero!” Gwen looked and saw that Luxray’s flash was growing dimmer and that his Darkari was frozen in time.
Gwen: “You don’t look like you’re in a position to battle. Besides, let Chase and his friends handle this.”
Shade: “Like they could. Besides, Darkrai has Ice Beam which we need to destroy the Sky and Draco Plates.”
AJ: “Hey Shade, no worries. Watch this. Salamance, use Hidden Power!” Salamance’s body glowed with blue energy and then formed energy balls orbiting it. Then Salamance roared and sent the Hidden Power attack at both the Sky and Draco Plates. The two plates shattered and Arceus X yelled in pain once again. The other yellow arch attatched to his body turned pink. He began to look more and more like a Ditto instead of an Arceus.
Gwen: “See? They can handle it. All that’s left is the Stone Plate.”
Shade: “Fine. Keep up the good work Chase.” With that Shade, Dakrai, Gardevoir, and Gwen disappeared, but Luxray remained and kept the Flash attack going. Chase and his friends looked at the white and pink Arceus with just the cracked stone plate remaining.
Chase: “You’re finished Xero! One attack is all it’ll take to defeat you.” Arceus X looked toward Chase and his friends and chuckled evilly.
Arceus X: “Is that what you believe?”
Brad: “We’ll prove it to you right now. Skarmory, use Steel Wing!” Brad’s Skarmory flew in with its wings glowing.
Arceus X: “I maybe down for the count but I’m taking you and your friends with me Chase Fisher!” With that Arceus began to create two energy spheres.
Lucas: “What’s he doing?”
Brad: “Skarmory, faster!” Brad’s Skarmory couldn’t fly any faster. Then Arceus X formed two heads of our clear energy. They were Dialga and Palkia’s heads and they roared. Was Arceus X bringing the legendary Pokémon to life? Brad’s Skarmory was just a few yards away from the final plate.
Arceus X: “Well played Chase, Lucas, AJ, and Vik. However I say we call this overall game a draw.” Skarmory finally hit and shattered the Stone Plate with Steel Wing but it was too late. “Roar of Time! Spacial Rend!” The Dialga and Palkia heads fired the two attack and they were both aimed at the Space Station!
Arceus X then screamed in pain from losing the last plate. His entire body glowed pink but since Roar of Time and Spacial Rend were heading to the Space Station no one saw what happened to Xero after losing his grip on the Arceus Transformation. The Dialga and Palkia heads also disappeared. All Chase and the others saw were the stream of crystal energy and swirl of purple and pink energy heading straight for them. Everyone felt their hearts pumping rapidly, telling them that they were facing their certain deaths.
Chase (thinking): You gotta be kidding me! We were so close!
AJ (thinking): I always hated Team Chaos and everyone involved in it!
Vik (thinking): I never got to date a girl!
Brad (thinking): So much for a rescue mission.
Amy (thinking): Where’s Gwen when we need her?
Lucas: “GALLADE HEEEEEEEEEEELP!” The two attacks hit the space station. Everyone who was inside it didin’t feel any pain. They didin’t feel anything. It was all over in a flash.
Back down on Earth Gwen and Gardevoir were at the ruins of Team Chaos’ old base. They were with Shade, Krystal, and Jason. They were preparing to Teleport and rescue Chase and the other when suddenly they looked up to the sky and saw a bright flash of light followed by yellow flames.
Jason: “The Space Station! Xero must’ve destroyed it!” Gardevoir had its eyes closed and Gwen looked at it.
Gwen: “Can you sense any of the Pokemon belonging to Lucas and his friends?” After thirty seconds Gardevoir looked at Gwen and then shook its head.
Chatot: “They’re dead.” Krystal yanked one of Chatot’s green tail feathers for Chatot’s lack of faith. Gwen collapsed to the ground and covered her face with her hands.
Gwen: “Oh no. They lost our battle against Xero. We’ve lost them.” Shade walked over to Gwen and got her back up to her feet. He then looked Gwen in the eyes.
Shade: “That pest Lucas was your grandfather from the past, right? Well if you’re still standing here then I guess he and his friends still survived.” Gwen wiped a tear from her face. It was the first time she had seen Shade act so sentimental.
Gwen: “Thank you Shade.” Then she kissed him on his cheek. “Now I just wish I knew what happened up there.”
Jason: “I don’t know and I don’t care.”
Chatot: “So is Team Chaos finished?” Krystal stood there with Chatot sitting on her shoulder. Then she kicked a glass shard from the Battle Simulation room’s ceiling.
Jason: “Afraid so. Xero got his desire after all. Team Chaos is now finished forever.” Jason then began walking away.
Shade: “Well I guess it’s back to the runaway lifestyle for me.”
Gwen: “Why? You could stay with me. After all I still care about you Matthew and unlike you I graduated High School.” Gwen kept her eyes locked on Shade’s hoping he’d say yes.
Shade: “Fine, but please keep calling me Shade… for now.” Gwen smiled. Then she looked up at the night sky.
Gwen: “Thanks everyone, and farewell.” Up in the vastness of space there was scrap metal and debris from the Space Station’s explosion. Nothing from the Pokémon Battle was left behind at all, not even the pink blob of a Ditto’s body. When the final plate shattered Xero lost all control over Arceus’ body and powers. He didin’t revert into his Ditto form either. Jason and the other remaining members of Team Chaos never saw or heard of Xero ever again.

For the spelling mistakes I blame my useless version of Microsoft word. When I get a chance to log onto Pokegym on a computer and not my iTouch I'll correct the errors. Also, whenever I write a chapter or anything for a fan fic I always stick to one rule: Always be unpredictable.

Alternate Endings
ATTENTION ALL POKEMON AR READERS AND FANS!
Here's where I really need you all now. Below I have posted two alternate endings. One was the original intended ending. The other... well a friend of mine asked for it. Please tell me which ending you like better and when I decide to continue this Fan Fic series the next "book" will focus where the chosen ending has left off.

Gallade heard Lucas’ cry for help and did the only thing it could think of. Nidoking and Salamance floated in to intercept the attacks. Spacial and Roar of Time were too strong. The attacks hit them and then slammed them into the space station. Then Gallade Teleported infront of them and stuck its blade arms in the two attacks. Crystal and purple energy surged through Gallade’s body. Scizor flew to Gallade and grabbed it from the horn on its helmet.
Gallade: “Gall… lade lade. (Leave… me alone.)”
Scizor: “Scizor zor! (But you’ll die!)”
Gallade: “Gallade Gallade Gal! (Better me then Lucas.)” The Spacial Rend and Roar of Time were still inching toward the space station. Salamance and Nidoking roared in pain. Scizor then joined the three Pokemon intercepting the attacks and then began groaning in pain.
Scizor: “Sci-scizor. (It’s too much)”
Gallade: “Gaaaal… lade (Al… most…)” After that Gallade’s entire body became engulfed in the crystal and purple energy. Then Gallade’s eyes glowed white and it used Teleport. All the Trainers and Pokemon disappeared and Spacial Rend and Roar of Time hit and destroyed the space station, resulting in the explosion Jason, Gwen, Shade, and Krystal would see back down on Earth.
For a moment no one knew what was going on. Chase and the others knew the two attacks were about to hit the Space Station but then they never felt the attacks’ impact nor did they feel the metal floors of the Space Station beneath their feet anymore. Chase opened his eyes and then saw that he was falling!
Chase: “What’s going on?!”
Lucas: “I don’t know! When can we stop panicking?” Suddenly they hit something and bounced upward and then landed on the same thing. It was a trampoline. Chase looked and saw Vik, AJ, and Lucas land on the trampoline as well, making it bounce him towards the edge. He looked out a bit further and saw that they were at Lucas and AJ’s house!
Vik: “We’re ALIVE!”
AJ: “Thank goodness, but how?” Lucas then looked over and saw his Gallade, returned to its normal coloring with its face and red chest piece planted into the lawn. Crystal blue and purple lightening were surging through and around its body, but slowly began to disappear. It then struggled to get up.
Lucas: “Gallade, you saved us?” Gallade then spat out grass and dirt from its mouth and looked over to Lucas. It then nodded.
AJ: “Gallade used Teleport, and though time as well?”
Chase: “I think Gallade probably used Roar of Time’s power to help it Teleport through time.”
Lucas: “Whoa, that’s awesome! Thanks Gallade.” Gallade chuckled, and then passed out on the lawn. Lucas panicked again and then ran to his Pokémon’s side.
Vik: “It must be exhausted from that last stunt it pulled. Hey, where’s Scizor, and Brad and Amy?”
Brad: “Look up!” Vik and the others looked up and saw both Brad and Amy onboard his Skarmory, which had also returned from being shiny to its normal coloring.
Amy: “Thanks for the great adventure you guys, but I’ve had enough Pokémon to last me a while.”
Brad: “We’re going home. Oh, and Scizor and Nidoking are on the roof of the house, fainted. See you Vik. Take care guys.” With that Brad and Amy waved goodbye as Skarmory began to fly away. Chase and Vik looked up and they saw Nidoking lying near the sky light and Scizor lying on the corner of the roof and slanting toward the gutter.
AJ: “OK, what about Salamance?”
Mr. Beltran: “AJ?!” AJ got off the trampoline and rushed toward the front of the house where he heard his father’s voice calling from. Salamance was the most unlucky. It landed in the truck bed of his father’s green Ford Taurus. The impact from the fall caused the back tires to blow out and the rear bumper was severely dented from Salamance’s tail. AJ chuckled nervously and Lucas was covering his mouth to hide his amusement.
AJ: “Ha ha, oops.” AJ brought out his PRi and recalled his Pokémon. Chase and Vik were still in the back yard sitting on the edge of the trampoline.
Chase: “Should we see what the yelling’s all about?”
Vik: “Nah, I’m hungry.” Chase brought out his PRi.
Chase: “Then head home. That’s where I’m going. Arcanine, come on out.” After the bright flash emerged from Chase’s PRi he climbed onto his Pokémon and Vik followed him. Arcanine then used the Trampoline to bounce up to the roof of the Beltran Family’s home and the two boys recalled their loyal Pokémon. Then Arcanine let out a long howl. Chase and Vik looked down and saw the smashed truck while AJ was trying to explain what had happened to his father. They could barely hear what AJ and Lucas were saying so they decided to stay out of it.
Chase: “Let’s go home Arcanine. Use Extremespeed!” Arcanine then leapt from rooftop to rooftop and high speed. After two minutes of bounching up and down on Arcanine’s back they arrived at Chase’s house, but Vik released his Swellow nicknamed Jo from his PRi and flew home on it. Then Chase got inside and took a nap.
Chase woke up to the doorbell ringing. He rubbed his eyes and got up to answer the door. It was Vik with his Swellow again.
Vik: “So, want to battle?” Chase stretched his arms and yawned.
Chase: “Right now?”
Vik: “It’s the weekend. We don’t have anything better to do.” Chase then reached for his PRi.
Chase: “You’re on! Arcanine, come on out.” Once again Chase released his Arcanine and climbed aboard. “So what do you say we use my high school’s football field as our battle ground?” Vik climbed onto his Swellow’s back and they took off.
Vik: “Race you there.” Arcanine raced down the street and then cut through the park. From the park it stayed near the main street and then arrived at the high school withing a couple minutes with Vik and Swellow close behind. Once they arrived at the football field Vik and Chase recalled their Pokémon then played their DS games to rearrange their teams. It wasn’t long before they were both ready.
Vik: “Full Battle, 6 on 6?”
Chase: “Fine with me. Nidoking and Manectric, let’s get ‘em!” Chase held out his PRi and his two Pokémon appeared. Nidoking let out a roar of determination while Manectric cried with joy.
Vik: “Ludicolo and Toxicroak, it’s show time!” At the opposite end of the football field Ludicolo and Toxicroak appeared and let out their battle cries.
Chase: “Let’s go! Manectric, use Discharge! Nidoking, use Sludge Bomb on Ludicolo!”
Vik: “Toxicroak, use Earthquake! Ludicolo, use Hydro Pump on Nidoking!” The four Pokémon launched their attacks. Chase and Vik were now in the heat of battle. They enjoyed having a battle with real Pokémon for the first time in a long time. It felt great knowing that they’d always have real Pokémon to battle with too.
Meanwhile, after AJ and Lucas put up with their father’s loss of his truck they were greeted with an unexpected visitor, but this visitor was no stranger.
Lucas: “Get out before I call out Spiny or Machop or Gallade or Twigster!” Jason then dropped a box at their front door without even coming into the house. Then he placed his hands in the air as if being greeted by an angry police officer.
Jason: “Easy. I understang you and your friends have been through a lot in our last encounter and our battle with Xero. So Gwen forced me to come back here and leave you all with this parting gift. I promise no surprises.” Jason then stepped back and his Celebi flew towards him. It then flew around him in a spiral motion and then they glowed and disappeared. AJ picked up the box and brought it inside.
AJ: “I trust Gwen but I don’t trust Jason.” The box had a Thank You card tied to it. AJ took out a pocket knife and then opened the box. Then AJ and Lucas looked inside and gasped in awe.
Lucas: “Woah, what are those?”
AJ: “I guess it’s a whole new way for us to call out our Pokémon from the games.” AJ and Lucas reached into the box. The two brothers then looked at each other and deviously smiled.
Roar of Time didn’t actually hit the space station but instead circled around it. Then Spacial Rend fused with Roar of Time and instead of destroying the Pokemon and their trainers inside the Space Station the two attacks transported everyone instead. Afterwards the ring of Roar of Time closed in on the space station and destroyed it.
Chase was the first to come to his senses, when he felt his chest hit the ground. The ground wasn’t metal, and it wasn’t cold either. It was warm and smelled of asphalt. Chase opened his eyes and got up. He ended up on a street back down on Earth. He couldn’t believe it. He survived.
Chase: “Wow, what a lucky break.” Chase got up to his feet and looked around. He was on the street of some town, but all the buildings were abandoned. Some had boarded up windows, some had shingles falling off the roofs, and others were just condemned. Chase looked and there was nothing but abandonded buildings and houses as far as the eye could see. Then he realized he was alone.
Chase: “Nidoking?! Lucas?! AJ?! Vik?!” Chase heard his own voice echo through the ghost town. He felt like he had no choice but to explore the strange place he was transported to. He reached for his PRi and was about to pull it out of his pocket when he heard something. It was a footstep and it had stepped on glass and broke it. The sound was coming from the empty building in front of him. Chase looked straight ahead and then heard a familiar voice.
AJ: “Chase, is that you?” Unbelievably it was AJ, but something was odd about him. AJ’s blue jeans were in rags, his new Quick Silver brand t-shirt was covered in dirt and dried mud, his hair was a mess with dirt collected in his bangs that reached down to his eye brows.
Chase: “AJ!” Chase ran up to his friend to help him out of the wrecked building. “What the heck happened.” AJ coughed and then looked at Chase and smiled.
AJ: “I haven’t seen you in two weeks.”
Chase: “TWO WEEKS?!” Chase couldn’t believe what he was hearing. While Chase grabbed AJ’s arm he noticed that his arm felt a bit harry too. Apparently AJ had been dropped in time at a much sooner period then Chase did.
AJ: “Xero pulled off one last trick in that battle at the Team Chaos space station. Roar of Time and Spacial Rend transported us even further into the future… and Xero is still alive!”
Chase: “What?” Chase let go of AJ’s arm and he collapsed to the ground again, this time on the sidewalk.
AJ: “Xero still has Arceus’ powers and he now rules the world. Lucas and I appeared first and we tried to battle Xero on our own, but he proved too powerful since we didn’t have the Psycho Drive program Brad invented. Lucas was taken prisoner and Xero destroyed my PRi. I can’t call out my Pokémon anymore.”
Chase: “Why that… that…” Chase swore out of anger then banged his fist against the wall, which caused a piece of the wood siding to fall off. “I don’t believe this. We beat Xero. We destroyed all 15 plates. We should be home now. So now you’re telling me we have to battle him again?” AJ got back up to his feet. He looked out into the ghost town and then back at Chase.
AJ: “I’m sorry Chase. I want to go home too and get back at Xero for taking my brother hostage. I have no idea what happened to Vik. I imagine he’s a fugitive from Xero’s rule like me.” Chase gripped his left hand and felt pure anger surge through him. He was sure he and his friends won that battle, but it seemed that Xero had once again manipulated him which just ticked him off even more.
Chase: “I won’t give up. I still have my PRi. I’ll find Xero and give him a battle he’ll never win. I swear it!”
AJ: “Chase… you never were meant to swear.” Chase chuckled. He was grateful that his best friend still had a sense of humor. Then he focused on the new task at hand. He could only imagine the city where Xero ruled. He almost felt like he was hurled into his favorite video game Jak 2 except he had his Pokemon to fight with. He hoped that wherever Xero was it wouldn’t be anything like Haven City.
Chase: “I’m going after Xero. Are you with me AJ?” AJ brushed the drown dirt of his arms.
AJ: “Sure, but Chase there’s something you need to know before we get going.” Then suddenly AJ glowed purple and then Transformed. It wasn’t AJ after all. Chase had been tricked! The body then turned into Zoroark’s body. Chase remembered seeing and battling the monster fox Pokemon back at the Space Station.
Zoroark: “You always were the easiest to trick Chase.” Chase was shocked, but he soon recovered and reached into his pocket for his PRi.
Chase: “I’ll make you pay for impersonating my best friend. Now tell me where I really am!” Chase had pulled out his PRi and he was now holding it out when Zoroark made its move. It leapt up and the landed in front of Chase and then used Shadow Claw. A claw made out of shadow energy swiped Chase’s right arm, which was holding the PRi. As soon as the claw scratched Chase he dropped his PRi from the surge of pain. Chase’s arm now had three huge scratches on it that began to bleed heavily.
Xero: “Well done Zoroark, now stand down unless he tries to run.” Out of the building with boarded up windows stepped out Xero. He looked drastically different from when Chase last saw him. He was walking on two legs like a human, he was still wearing his brown cloak, but the sleeves now covered his hands as well and his face was still human shaped but now his face was white on the sides and where his mouth was but also grey where his eyes and nose were. His face very much resembled Arceus’.
Chase: “Xero?!”
Xero: “In the flesh. I’ve mutated but this form serves me well. By the way you and your friends were sent ten years further into the future. Zoroark didn’t lie when it said I’ve taken over the world since then and Chase, you are my last victim.” Chase could barely stand looking at Xero’s Arceus looking face as it talked to him.
Chase: “What do you mean last vict- uh!” Chase felt a sharp pain in his back and neck. Zoroark was using Shadow Claw again but this time it had used it to stun Chase and then knock him unconscious. Once Chase crumpled to the ground Xero placed his left foot onto Chase’s back.
Xero: “Game over Chase. I win!” Xero laughed evilly and savored his victory. Xero finally got everything he had ever wanted.

Xero: “Well done Zoroark, now stand down unless he tries to run.” Out of the building with boarded up windows stepped out Xero. He looked drastically different from when Chase last saw him. He was walking on two legs like a human, he was still wearing his brown cloak, but the sleeves now covered his hands as well and his face was still human shaped but now his face was white on the sides and where his mouth was but also grey where his eyes and nose were. His face very much resembled Arceus’.
Chase: “Xero?!”
Xero: “In the flesh. I’ve mutated but this form serves me well. By the way you and your friends were sent ten years further into the future. Zoroark didn’t lie when it said I’ve taken over the world since then and Chase, you are my last victim.” Chase could barely stand looking at Xero’s Arceus looking face as it talked to him.
Chase: “What do you mean last vict- uh!” Chase felt a sharp pain in his back and neck. Zoroark was using Shadow Claw again but this time it had used it to stun Chase and then knock him unconscious. Once Chase crumpled to the ground Xero placed his left foot onto Chase’s back.
Xero: “Game over Chase. I win!” Xero laughed evilly and savored his victory. Xero finally got everything he had ever wanted.

I prefer the second ending. The first seemed a bit overdone. And far too cheerful, IMHO.:tongue:

IMO, neither. The first is too, idk, happy. There has to be some kind of consequence to everything that happened. Nobody has to die, but something has to change from how the characters were in the beginning.
The second just plain sucks. It'd be kool if it were the start of something new, but as an ending it just sucks.
On a side note, with all the space-time traveling going on here, it would've been more interesting to see you do more with all of it. Distant past? Re-doing events if the outcome doesn't fit? Idk. But it just feels like you could've done more with the premise...

I think that the second one was a little unrealistic, and I hate the Pokemon Zoroark from all the hype it got when it was first released, but it's nice to see someone realize that not everyone gets what they want in the end. ;P

Hm, bullados, you bring up a good point. I think I may change two things in the first ending, or maybe I'll implement the changes when I start the next installment on this series. We'll see. I plan on writing again once all the pokemon of the 5th generation are revealed.

Note: This takes place right after Gallade pulls its stunt with Roar of Time and Spacial Rend from the "happy ending."
Chase closed his eyes and and held out his hands to block whatever was coming his way he thought for sure he would die, but suddenly he didn't feel the metal floor beneath him. Suddenly the air he was breathing seemed fresh and rich with oxygen. It also felt a bit colder too. Chase opened his eyes and found himself standing on in the backyard of AJ and Lucas's house.
Chase: "Huh, what the heck just happened?" Vik, AJ, Lucas, Amy, and Brad all looked around and seemed shocked at what had just happened. They were all faked out.
Brad: "How did we survive, and what are we doing back here?" Brad's Skarmory then fell to the ground and was surrounded by sparks from Spacial Rend. Skarmory then fainted and the effects of Brad's Psycho Drive program wore off. Skarmory changed from the dim gray and green feathers of its shiny form to the normal brighter grey and red feathers. Lucas then gasped and shouted.
Lucas: "Gallade, you ok?" Gallade was standing near the trampoline and had energy from both Roar of Time and Spacial Rend surging through its body, and it had also reverted back to its normals colors. Vik's scizor was also affected by the attacks and had the crystal energy from Roar of Time sparking and injuring its body. Soon Scizor fainted and returned to its normal red colors instead of being green.
Gallade: "Gaaaaal.... Gaaaal..." Gallade sounded weak and it had a hard time trying to get the energy from the attacks to stop afflicting it with damage.
Chase: "I get it. Gallade must have absorbed the powers from Roar of Time and Spacial Rend and combined them with Teleport."
Vik: "Maybe it was too much. Look at Skarmory and Scizor. I think they had to help absorb the damage so Gallade could save us." Lucas ran up to Gallade who was still struggling with the uncontrollable powers. He then reached out and grabbed one of Gallade's blade arms. The energy from Roar of Time then surged through Lucas and then he yelled in pain.
AJ: "Lucas get away from there." Lucas let go of Gallade and he stopped feeling pain.
Lucas: "Gallade, please be ok!" Gallade then fell to its knees and then started glowing white. Gallade seemed to shrink too. The crystal energy surrounding Gallade then engulfed Gallade.
Vik: "Dudes, what the heck is going on?" For a while Gallade was surrounded by the crystal energy but then it let up and disappeared. Then everyone gasped at what happened to Gallade. Lucas then reached down and picked up the fainted Ralts that was now present.
Lucas: "Ralts? Are you ok?" Ralts then looked at Lucas and then the horn on its head started glowing as it activated its synchronize ability.
Ralts: I had to do whatever it took to save you and our friends. Ralts then passed out in Lucas' hands. Lucas smiled and then recalled Ralts into his PRi.
Chase: "Gallade devolved?! Back into a Ralts?! How?"
Brad: "I think Gallade may have absorbed too much of Dialga and Palkia's powers. Even though it saved us from Xero having all that power backfired on it."
AJ: "I guess that makes sense." Suddenly the back sliding door opened and Mr. and Mrs. Beltran walked out, but they had some gray hairs now.
Mr. Beltran: "AJ, Lucas, and your friends you're all back!"
Mrs. Beltran: "Oh thank goodness. I was so worried." The boys then recalled all their Pokemon and then AJ and Lucas went up to hug their parents.
AJ: "No worries mom. We're glad to be back home. Our last adventure was a bit too much but it was still awesome."
Lucas: "Besides we were only gone for 24 hours."
Mr. Beltran: "Not to us." Suddenly all the boys and Amy were confused.
Mrs. Beltran: "You boys followed that Xero creep and then went missing for over two years." Everyone then gasped. Chase then looked at his cell phone's calendar. Sure enough it confirmed what the Beltrans had just said.
Chase: "Ah! It's May of 2010! We left here in January of 2008! We missed out two years and 4 months of our lives!" Brad, Amy, and Vik all gasped in shock. They couldn't believe how close and yet how far there all were from home. To make matters worse no one could still call out a Celebi from their PRi's.
Lucas: "Aw, Gallade failed to Teleport us back far enough in time!"
AJ: "You think that's bad I missed my birthday!"
Amy: "This is weird. I wonder how this will effect my high school graduation." Everyone just looked at each other shocked and confuse. How were they supposed to move on with their lives since none of them aged two years like their families have.

Mrs. Beltran: "We've kept in contact with your parents Chase and Vik. Vik your family will be happy to have you back in Molalla. Chase, I'm afraid your mother moved out of state, but you're welcomed to stay with us for a while if you want." Chase was suddenly alarmed.
Chase: "What, when did she move?"
Mr. Beltran: "Last August. I haven't heard from her since. I'm sure you'll be able to track her down if you wish to move back in with her. She sold your Pokemon collection on ebay since she figured you were never coming back." Suddenly Chase was mixed with anger and sadness. His mother had given up hope that he'd come back home, but he was only in the future for nearly 24 hours, and that short amount of time had ruined his life.
Chase: "Nah, I'll stay for a while. It'd be nice to relax without an overprotective mother for a change."
AJ: "Watch it Chase. You don't know what it's like living with my parents." Chase chuckled and walked into the Beltran's home with AJ and Lucas. Mrs. Beltran offered Vik and snack but he refused it. Then he released his Swellow and then flew home. He wondered how much his hometown had changed in the two years he had been missing.
Chase and AJ shared a room for a month while figuring out if Chase would stay in his hometown or reunite with his mother who had moved to Minnesota. She was offered a job that she couldn't pass up and moved to start a new life. Chase opted to stay in Oregon with his best friends. After getting a job he rented a room from the Beltran's home and stayed there to finish his high school education along side AJ. Chase, AJ, Lucas, and Vik continued to go to Pokemon League and obtained their copies of HeartGold and SoulSilver. Then along came the news of Pokemon Black & White. It seemed that the future of Pokemon losing popularity told by Team Chaos was altered.
AJ: "You know this means we may still run into Team Chaos again, right." Chase looked at the images of Zoroark and Zorua on the computer. Then he looked at his own PRi which now contained a copy of Heartgold in it.
Chase: "Does it really matter? I say bring 'em on!" AJ gave Chase a friendly punch. They may have skipped two years of their lives but it didn't matter. They already got their 5th generation experience, even if the ones they met wouldn't exists due to changing the future.

The idea is better. Just wish it were a little bit more polished. I'm much more interested in the characters vocal and visual reactions to everything that happened. Show, don't tell. You harped on some of the wrong details. I want to know more about how Chase deals with his parents moving out emotionally, about the various adults reactions to the inexplicable disappearance and reappearance of the kids and about the various monsters now inhabiting their households.
The idea is solid, just a bit clumsily executed. Which might be some of the charm of this particular series, the clumsiness of the writing. It has gotten a LOT better since the first book, though ^_^.

I'll expand more on Chase's emotions when I start the next installment on this series. Until then I need to brainstorm on the main plot. I made that ending up right on the spot (as in no editing, no proof reading). So expect me to expand more on the characters individually on the next book. Until then I need to focus on some College stuff coming up and what I want to do for book 3. And also think about the upcoming 5th gen Pokemon for the characters. I'm definetly using the new Grass starter.
And yes at least Shade and Gwen will return in the next installment. I won't say anything about the other Team Chaos members though. Haven't decided yet.

This is much better than the other two. I still don't think that endings are one of your strengths, though, and it needs some tweaking. Whether you'll deal with it later or not, I really think you need to show Chase's emotions now, rather than have him just act perfectly normal and then be sad later.
