again i wanna be first ;x

so how different are ruby and saphire from the previous games? the lastest ive played is silver =/

Oh, VERY different:

-For starters, you can only catch 200 of the 380+ Pokemon
Never fear, because these missing Pokemon will be available in Coliseum.

-As you can guess, GBA offers a huge leap in graphics.

There are WAY more, but I'm just posting atm, so you won't get a full answer until later ^^""

To be exact, there're 386 pokemon. This time there are 2 new special legendary pokemon that are like mew and celebi from the previous games. They can only be obtained from nintendo's events.

Ru/Sa has new moves, new contests, new 2 vs 2 battle, new berries, new items, new ways of breeding, new storyline, new elite 4 and champion, new bikes, etc.

The other two posts pretty much summed it up but they forgot to mention that ruby/sapphire takes place in Houen XDD
(you can't get to Johto or Kanto.. at least there's no way that any one knows about..)
