Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

POP previews Rhyperior Lv.X

I don't see this card being good. It is just a slow card. It's first attack will almost always hurt more than it helps. It's second attack need 3 energy and the normal one has a 3 energy for 80 attack which stops the card from attacking. If I were to build a rypherior deck I would just play 4-3-4 rypherior and not use the lv.x. Maybe if they made a normal one that goes with this one but the other one is only good by itself.

Looks like the Rhyperior and Mewtwo lv.X in the tins are the exact same cards as the ones in the set.

Its cool and it has potentail whether at top teir how ever is another matter i hope it does ok as i've got 2 JPN copies of this ;)

I see this one working, if someone finds a way to go through the deck like an inferncatty. Then through all the energy back in, and pound for a while.

Here's what a deck with it and Porygon Z Lv. X could look like:

Pokemon (17):

3 Rhyhorn (DP)
1 Rhydon (DP)
2 Rhypherior (DP)
2 Rhypherior Lv. X
2 Porygon (GE)
2 Porygon-2 (GE)
2 Porygon-Z (GE)
2 Porygon-Z Lv. X
1 Sableye (SW)

Trainers (22):

1 Bubble Coat
1 Switch
2 Premier Ball
2 Warp Point
2 Cynthia’s Feelings
2 Night Maintenance
2 Poke Radar
3 Roseanne’s Research
3 Bebe’s Search
4 Rare Candy

Energy (21):

21 Fighting

Why 2 X's? If you're using Premier Ball and NM, 1 should be enough.

The funny thing about Stage 2 X's is that you have a ways to go to get them out.

With 2 Premier and 2 NM, that's still not enough, even for a lvX with such high HP. I run a Leafeon/Sceptile deck with 3 Premier, 2 NM, and a TSD, and I'm still using pretty much all of them for Discard retrieval. And that's a deck with a 130HP main attacker!

I'm still not sure how a stage 2 lvX main attacker would work out. I just know that DP1 Rhyperior is a TERRIBLE attacker, and cannot be used under ANY circumstances.

I like this card a lot it has potential.
I wish there was a way to make the old rhyperior deck out idea actually work.
it is so week to water though, if there was away around that weakness easier, it would be a tank.

Well Can anyone say Rhyperior Level X, Porygon-Z Level X, and Kingdra for I next big deck.

Rhyperior also helps powering up Kingdra.
