    Powers Off

    Pokemon (21)

    4 Slakoth
    2 Vigoroth
    4 Slaking

    2 Treeko (Drg)
    2 Sceptile (N-Holo)

    2 Gimer
    2 Muk EX

    3 Dunsparce

    13 Grass

    Trainers (26)
    4 T.V. Reporter
    4 Prof. Birch
    2 Pokenav

    4 Switch
    3 Warp Point

    2 Town Volunteers

    4 Rare Candy

    1 Low Pressure Stadium

    2 Poke Nurse

The idea of the deck is to shut off powers. Either Slaking or Muk EX needs to be active to turn off Powers. If I use Slaking to attack, use switch or warp point to bring up another Slaking. Use Sceptile’s power to trans the energy to the new Slaking and attach another energy and attack. If Muk is active, use switch to bring up a Slaking then trans the energy to the active and attack.

I still think this deck runs a bit slow. Can anyone suggest ideas for speeding up the draw engine? Also, should I try to (or how can I) put in the Harvest Bounty Venusaur? I would like to attach more energy a turn if possible.

Too slow, and especially because Slaking discards energy, you need way more than 13. Also, two stage twos doesnt always work out the best.

yeah very slow. make it a blaziken deck without the.... no wait...
play a blaziken deck and throw in slaking, thats ok.(and take out rayquaza)and maybe take out amphy?

You should just try and go with an Muk Ex deck, a lot of peeps have made some to stop Blaze decks right now. Just try and base a deck around Muk Ex to stop Firestarter from working. :)

See dskates' A Colorless Blaze counter? Maybe... (E-on) post. A lot of talk there about his Slaking deck. Me and several poeple posted our fixes there. This decks basically the same.

Id have to agree w/ pokemasterflabface - If you want anti power - go w/ muk ex. much faster to powerup and get out.
