Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Price guide is Open

OK, I'll accept that. Then we'll have a serious discussion about it and don't take offense from what I may say, either. Agreed?

Regarding seriousness, you can take what is said in the Guide to the Guide and the intro article at face value. There are price guides out there that give inflated and outdated prices that are, to be frank, worthless to the single card buyer or trader.

Just like we are the source for Pokemon TCG Rulings, we intend to be the source for Pokemon TCG values and pricing, based on what is being sold out there in the real world.

Now, with that in mind, if you keep getting stuck on the $0.50 low end price for Mary's Request, we're not going to get very far in this discussion. And I want to make sure that you understand that $0.50 is the right price point there. Based on your higher sales, we may adjust the Med price, but do you see that 5 recent sales of 4 cards each (that's 20 Mary's Requests) at $0.40 to $0.60 each is real data and regardless of what we decide to set the Med price, $0.50 is accurate in reflecting what is happening in the real world market for the low end prices?

About the uncommons in all pricelists, I regret the price is set on 0.30 for med. it's a bit low in my opinion.
0.50 would be reflecting a better standard.
Uncommons are spare sold at auctions and if we are talking about Unused/new cards the rarity should be taken in consideration.
Starting each Uncommon with 0.50 and than depending on demand/sales/auctions raise that price, but don't go lower for the MED table. High will be 0.75 or 1.00 on an uncommon in almost each professional store.
For LOW and trade 0.20 sounds descent to me.

The only reflections you have to watch for the Uncommons are the trainercards. Those are going up pure and only because of the players buying. Which has to do with current Metagame.
From older sets 0.50 is also a good reflection, and when a card moves out Modified format it can be lowered in price if it was in high demand before. But for a new card to obtain, a high demand card will always stay more exspensive.
Unless this guide is taken Used cards in consideration.

Just a general throw in - RH trainers have very high trade values. They can be bought for $.75-$2 each but I usually can trade playsets of 4 for 1-2 good EXs.

Can you put a comparitive number on that? If an ex is 10, would that make an AH Trainer 5?

Wow! I just noticed the price guide. Very nice.

I have a question about stamped Promos.

I've got (I think) three stamped with the Wizards' "W" from Top Deck/Duelist. A Pikachu, Wartortle, and Kabuto. Should these be added to the list or am I missing seeing them?

Also, on the Error cards, I would expect that selecting "Error" would show all error cards. I'm just seeing three from Base set.

(Two more things... now I understand why RR wanted the Pokepedia data. GJ RR! And MARK MY WORDS! It will be only DAYS before someone asks about adding Japanese cards! I get that all the time! LOL)

Added a few more errors tonight, in fact.
At this point, we have the high priced ones in there. I haven't put in the multitude of base set ones that are low priced. Need more data for those. If anyone thinks I've missed a hot error card, let me know.

Well...Pojo says it's worth $150.

You should request a scan, and offer to give whoever contributes one a "Gallary Contributor" title or something...

Yes. They also list the Ninetales error at $45. I'd happily pay $45 for one.
That part of their price guide hasn't been updated for 3 years.
I was thinking of listing PR Raichu at $9999.

No, actually, TC already had the data - my desire for the PokePedia Excel file was more personal! BTW, I have a database with all Japanese cards , whenever the day comes that we want to add them into the Price Guide!!!

Pop - That's why I added a  at the end of that sentance. Pojo can be so funny sometimes.

As for the price, I'd agree with a value of $9,999 for anything that is so rare that there is no record of one selling.

Yeah def some RH trainers are worth $5 in trade value. I don't mean like Potion obviously, but more like Mary's Request, PETM, Steven's, Rare Candy, etc.
