So, Vespiquen is a really tough matchup for the Primal Groudon Deck Due to Vespiquen only giving up one Prize, and Primal Groudon's Weakness to grass. I have tried to improve the matchup and will discuss the tech cards that I am considering to improve the matchup.
The list:
Pokemon- 11
3x Groudon EX
3x Primal Groudon EX
4x Wobbuffet PHF
1x Landorus EX
Trainers- 37
4x Professor Sycamore
2x N
2x Professor Birch's Observation
2x Lysandre
2x Korrina
3x Vs Seeker
3x Mega Turbo
2x Switch
2x Ultra Ball
2x Enhanced Hammer
2x Focus Sash
1x Heavy Ball
1x Professor's Letter
1x Max Potion
1x Scramble Switch
3x Scorched Earth
2x Silent Lab
2x Tropical Beach
Energy- 12
8x Fighting Energy
4x Strong Energy
My thoughts on dealing with this matchup are the Landorus and the Hammers. I know Vespiquen really relies on DCE to fuel it's attacks, so discarding them seems like a good way to deal with it. Landorus is able to do damage to benched combee, and doesn't share the grass weakness with Groudon......
But what do you think? Leave you opinions in the comments. Thanks!
