Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Professor Juniper in Gyarados

but with professor juniper you could be discarding good cards... when with junk arm and regice and even volkners you only discard what you need... just my opinion... and yoyofsho16... how do you have a list that can efficiently fit that all in

Professor Juniper will be good in most decks, IMO. Yes, it may be especially good in Gyarados... actually, it will definitely be good in Gyarados, but people thought Junk Arm would bump up Gyarados to BDIF as well. It was great, and still is good, but even after Juniper it will still have Trainer lock to contend with.

Actually, Juniper might help a tad with the Trainer lock by allowing decks to dump off their hand of Trainers to rid themselves of Poltergeist material.

Juniper, Max Potion, and Catcher will all have to be tested.
I think they'll all do well though, and if you can get rid of the cards in your hand before using Juniper then it can be an extremely effective card.

yah... it would be funny if you had like 3 magikarp and a lot of trainers in your hand against a vilegar deck and you just discard like 10 trainers and laugh maniacly in there face*** Mawahahahaha***jk

Gyarados no doubt will recieve a huge boost when the next BW set is released. Juniper will help get Magikarps into discard, and drawing into a Gyarados/BTS. Catcher will also help as it will pretty much guarantee a KO every turn.

Personally, I'd like to see them print B/W without midseason rotation, BUT they should not implement the new rules until the rotation after worlds.

This is what I would like to see happen as well. The new cards aren't the problem, it's the new rules.

^ i have gyarados

ok... proffesor juniper will be awesome... just think about it. Colletor for three karps then proffesor juniper for a whole new hand and hopefully set up with that

So will everyone else. :/

You expect the format to not rotate?
Well I can tell you what happens when it doesn't. The only playable decks are Sablelockdonk and SP stuff like Luxchomp. The only decks that can survive those decks for more than one turn are those running Spiritomb and trainer lock. Gyarados got better? Yes, a lot. But not enought to have a chance in a broken format like MD-on with new rules.

^true but i was saying that i think it would be awesome with no rotation or new rules... just proffesor juniper would be great.:)

Hasn't it already been leaked that the new rules will be applied?
Yes, if they keep old rules and old format, Gyarados will be good. But only then, and I don't think it will happen.

If there is no rotation and B&W rules, you better pray that you start Sableye and win the flip with your Gyarados deck.

Then you can play it as if it was a Sabledonk ;)

Also Zekrom - a 130 HP Basic that can set up T1 and OHKO even a Belted Gyarados.

Gyarados gets some great new cards to use (if they are in the set), but it gets some nasty enemies as well.

How does it set up turn 1... but still it really is a good card becuase if you get everything on it it can one shot Me belted....Stupid weakness:(
