are being delivered to Pokemon Professors as recognition for their hard work and dedication! Tournament Organizers (TOs), Judges, and League Leaders/Owners world-wide who have amassed Professor Rewards Program points for their efforts in supporting the Trading Card Game (TCG) now have something tangible to show for their hard work.

In addition, a new genre of collectible cards has emerged - Basic Energy Cards (BECs) and Prof. Oak's Research trainer cards stamped with the logo "Professor Program 2004 - 2005" are amongst the items available for redemption.

While December, 2004, saw the debut of the first Prof. Oak card for sale at auction, setting the tone for others which follow, this week has seen the very first set of Professor Program-stamped BECs offered for sale.

As these cards are limited in how many may be ordered per cycle, with an overall cap per person for the entire year, they are likely to become highly collectible and eagerly sought out by both players and collectors. In addition, the foil stamping is dated to the current POP season, making them a treasured keepsake for years to come.
