What do you think would happen? Shuckle's Ferment Poison prevents the Poisoned Pokémon from using any Poké-Bodies. If this Poison is Psychic Shifted back to Shuckle, would Shuckle lose its Poké-Body?

    Nice try.

Except the Ferment Poison's "As long as this pokemon is poisoned by this attack, it can't use pokebodies" is an extra effect placed specifically onto the defending pokemon, not an effect attached to all poisoning.

Thus, since Xatu's Poison Shift has no such additional effect placed onto shuckle (it's not Ferment Poison the attack that's placing the poison status onto Shuckle), it won't shut his body off.

Well, what I'm going by is the fact that the effect is on the Poison condition. Think about Toxic. It has an additional rule of doubling the damage. What if it were Shifted? It also specifies the Defending Pokémon?

Psychic Shift only moves a special condition, which is in this case Poison.
So NO shuckle will not loose it's body, it's only being Poisoned.

The same here, Psychic Shift will ONLY move the Poison condition NOT the attack effect of the 2 damage counters.

Pity. If the ruling were the other way around, my opponent's Shuckle would be useless.
