Rayquaza Ex d attacks with Special Circuit:

[1L] Special Circuit - Choose 1 of your opponent's Pokemon. This attack does 30 damage to that Pokemon. If you choose a Pokemon that has any Poke-Powers or Poke-Bodies, this attack does 50 damage instead. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokemon.)

    a) to a Honchkrow Lv X, does it 50 damage?
    b) to a Murkrow with a Honchkrow Lv X in play, with the energy. It does 30?

    Can you explain why?

    Thanks!

You're making some assumptions in your question that you really need to state for clarity.

For example, you're assuming that Honchkrow from MT is under the Level X. Right now that's the only Honchkrow, but that might not always be the case.

With Honchkrow from MT under the LvX, yes, Ray ex would do 50 damage. Both cards are considered "in Play".

As for Murkrow, that would only do 30. Murkrow doesn't have a power or a body.
It might have an effect on it from the other card's Body, but that's not the same thing.
