My opening hand has a First Ticket, Switch, Energy, Pokemon Communication and other cards. My opponent mulligans three times. I draw two fist ticket cards and a Musharna pokemon.
I was able to play the first trainer at the start of the Richland City Championship! It was a very special moment. I play First Ticket after my opponent sets up. He starts with only a Timburr active. I start with Mewtwo EX active. I use the Pokemon Communication and Musharna to get a Victini (V-blast). I place it on the bench. I use switch to make Victini active. I attach energy and declare my attack. I get two heads for game! 1-0
Comment: Use of First ticket in my first tournament resulted in a first turn win for the first round.
R2 Rayeels
Let's just say this game went down hill really fast. I started with Victini with Mewtwo Ex on the bench. He starts with Tynamo and goes first. He gets set up with Rayquazza EX and Electriks on the bench after a few turns. I roll tails on V-Blast in on trying to KO Tynamo. I Pokemon Catcher up an Electrik and roll tails. I eventually get a small break a couple turns by putting Rqyquazza EX to sleep. He has to use Compute Search for a switch. I am able to KO Zekrom using Mewtwo Ex; but I only get on prize. 1-1
R3 Gothetelle/Victini
I start with Mewtwo Ex. My opponent starts with Victini (V-Blast). Fortunately I went first (no first ticket). I add a DCE to Mewtwo Ex and use trainers to place Munna on the bench. I KO Victini. He brings up a Gothita. He places another on the bench. I eventually KO both Gothita's using Mewtwo Ex. 2-1
R4 Darkrai Ex/Hydreigon
I go second. My opponent starts with Deino. He places Darkrai Ex on the bench; attaches energy and passes. I start with Victini (V-blast). I get Victini (Victory-Star) on the bench and another Victini V-blast on the bench. I attach energy to Victini and roll tails. My opponent places Cresselia EX on the bench and gets Hyreigon on the bench. He gets set up and promotes Darkrai Ex to the active position. He KOs Victini (V-blast) and does 30 to Victini (Victtory Star). I promote a Victini, attach energy and do 100 damage. He heals the damage using max potion and KOs Victini V-blast and Victini (Victory Star) on the bench. Eventually I am able to KO Cresselia Ex and get two prizes; but he burns through my pokemon and wins. 2-2
R5 Garchomp/ Altaria
He goes first. He has Gibble active and two swablu on the bench. He gets a Gabite and passes. I start with Victini (V-blast) active and Mewtwo Ex and Victini (Victory Star) on the bench. I attach energy to Victini and roll 2 heads and KO Gibble. He promots a Swablu, I draw DCE and attach too Mewtwo EX, retreat Victini and KO Swablu. I KO the other Swablu the next turn for the win. 3-2
R6 Darkrai Ex/Hydreigon
In this game. I start with Victini active and Mewtwo Ex on the bench. My opponent gets Darkrai Ex, Sableye and Hydreigon set up fast. I am able to damage Darkrai EX doing 100 using Victini. He heals the damage and KOs Victini. I eventually get Musharna active and use Dream eater and Munna Ability to put Darkrai Ex asleep for enough turns to KO Darkrai Ex for two prizes. I am unable to KO any more pokemon as Darkrai Ex KOs my low hit point pokemon in one shot. 3-3
