Tuesday the 30th or even Wednesday the 31th would work. I might be able to make monday the 29th.

The 30th might not work for me. However, the earlier in the day the better. The 31st is a viable day but not the night time!

(Good New / Bad New ) I did get a hold of 16 more theme decks for this Saturday! However, they were all from the Expedtion set. Also, Sean and I are trying to put together theme decks from Aquapolis, Skyridge, Ruby/Sapphire, SandStorm and Dragons from our own card collections.

I was able to make the following: (But, am waiting to see if Sean has some of the card to make the decks complete!)

2 Ruby
2 Sapphire

1 Caravan
1 Oasis

1 Fire Fang
1 Wind Blast

If anybody from the Poke-Shack can help by trading, here is what Sean is helping me look for:

Have we come up with a starting time for tomorrow? I figured we'd be starting early and staying late because of the extra tournament...perhaps we could open up at 8:00 or 9:00 am?

Also, I've got the cards you need, though I'm a bit hard-pressed to trade them, especially the Roselia. I could probably work something out, unless you've already got it covered.
 
I will open the doors at 10:00 AM! People asked to do a 10 AM until 7 or 8 PM playing time.

I figured on starting our normal modified tournament at 11:30 or as close to as possible. I thought 4 or 5 rounds with a top 8. But, if everyone still wanted 6 rounds and could stay later, GREAT!

I would like to do the theme deck tournament (Not Sanctioned) after the modified tournament. I was hoping for 5-6 rounds of play followed by a top 8.

I plan on bringing some snack food and some drinks. I know "Something Else" planned on bringing something and Paris said cookies. Please bring whatever you want to share but no one is required to bring anything. I know Sean threw the idea out there for food and it was for anyone that WANTED to volunteer!

I'm excited for tomorrow! I looking forward to it! :D
 
The cable guys went to bury my internet line on Saturday and accidently cut my line when they dug the trench. I have been without Net access until just now!

We can play at the precinct building on Tuesday from 10 AM until 2 PM. I have to leave at 2 PM so I can pick my cousin up from the airport. He came back from Afghanistan and is on military leave for the rest of the week! :)

Here are the results from the Saturday January 3, 2004 tournament. We had 15 players in the following age groups, 15+ seven players, 11-14 seven players, and 10- one player. I can see people have been able to refine their decks over the last month, making them more efficient, quicker with some meta-gaming. Nice job and keep it up! I was able to sit down with a couple of players at the end of the day to give some suggestions. I hope they made sense to you and will help you for next week.

I will admit that my Wailord EX came out fast in the Top 4 and Top 2. That gave me the advantage and my opponents through everything at Waillord EX including the kitchen sink to try and slow him down. I had extremely challenging games all day long from everyone I played. I thank you for it gives me insight for improvements for the deck. I will post my Wailord and Blazekin on the deck list topics if people want to see what’s in them. They are not fool proof and I’m always looking for suggestions for improvement.

P.S.----Keep an eye out on the boards. I hope to announce the date for our Rochester Draft later this week. I have to get the cards first and talk to Rich before I make it official, but I’m hoping for near the end of January.

Congratulations in winning goes out to A.J.! It was nice to see A.J. and Dillon back at the shack! We had a lot of bunching up in the standings around the 10 and 9 point levels, 8 players! That was a big middle bunch! Eric and his Muk EX deck, was just one coin flip away from having 12 points and being in the top 8! It seems we had a system of checks and balances today.

I’m going to push back the Rochester Draft to late February or early March. The dealer, I get my booster boxes is out of R/S and Dragons and I see the City Championships are going up. Garden City, Michigan is February 14, LaGrange, In. is February 21.

Hello Everyone,

I'm sorry I've been gone for the boards since Saturday. I've been busy with helping a friend get over the loss of a spouse Saturday night. I also needed to catch up on preparing lessons for this week and for the sub when I was at the funeral, plus still had to attend grad school and then my prinicpal needed my lessons since she was observing me teach this week. I'm hoping to post the last Saturday's results Friday night.

To Burning Torchic, I will keep your deck secret until Paris comes to town!
