I would love to see a SC at Harmon Meadows in Secaucus, NJ. Especially since Pokemon Center has been having large numbers for their tournaments.

If there are going to be 3 Stadium Challenges, why not start with the WOTC venues - Newark, Chicago, and San Diego and go from there?

I think all 3 are still viable.

Good thinking, but PUI might want something more central. Disney land works for me :). Why not since Disney World is were worlds is. ;)

NoPoke still can't tell the difference between a Pop and a Daddy :)

**wonders if NoPoke sent cards to BDS...** :p

Nope, just slow international mail.

NoPoke is an officer and a Gentleman! :D

What a year to be back into pokemon. I hope the nintendo challenge series this year will be as fun as wizards had them in the past. If anything the prereleases might merge somewhat with origins. What i mean is orgions might have a last minute prerelese for all fans. I think all in all the stadiums will be a one time HUGE event in each region that will be packed and interesting to see. Ill nver forget the ECSC. That was a sweet event and i hope i see alot of farmiliar faces if i get the chance to return there. I wonder if zeo will be back for this stadium challenge?? :thumb:

I now know of 2 Gym Challenges that will happen in the mid-May time-frame. It looks like dates/locations are being worked out this week and should be officially announced shortly.

Regarding where the 3-ish Stadiums should be held, I'd say that any place that has a Gym Challenge should be ruled out. Likewise, Ohio and Florida should be ruled out for obvious reasons. My choices are:

DC-area - it's more central in the East than NYC and is a great tourist trap.

Texas - Houston could attract some players as far away as FL and be the first South-central Stadium.

Las Vegas - it will EASILY attract BOTH the Southern CA and Mountain-West players.

I think Vegas is out for the reason I think the PUI wants a place that family can go, were lately Vegas has been using the advertising 'what happen here, stay here' as a more adult place to go. So I really dont see one in Vegas. Now Salt Lake would be a great place to hold it ;). we are in the middle of a lot of states so it would be easy for a lot of players to come. Plus we did have the olympics here, so why not a Statdium Challenge?

Would be interesting to see a northern california or seattle site chosen, due to the interest up there, and residual interest from Worlds and the like.

I am betting NYC, Texas and Northern Cal/Washington State

Just my guess, I know where I proposed (wink)

What's a good facility in the DC/Baltimore area?

Hmmm, the Washington Convention Center comes to mind - WAY bigger than the Columbus facility...recently (well, I guess it's been over a year ago now) re-openned in a new building with a Metro stop directly underground.

How many players are being planned for? There are lots of potential venues in DC.

It would be awesome to get one in DC. Although if the Dream Wizards people organize it, it'll probably be on a Sunday. :x

No way can we have it run at Dream Wizards (although it could be run by the folks that help out there ;)!) - too small. Gotta think big, here.

Yeah, I know we couldn't have it there. Although we could always just play without tables to save space =P. We could probably sardine everyone in.

But, aside from having it in Dream Wizards XP there are loads of convention centers in DC, right?

Im guessing these are gonna be the locations due to the past and everyone knows them well:

West CoastSan Diego,CA
Remember alot of wizarsds pokemon events happened here including: WCSTS,WCSC's

Central-Rosewood,IL
This is the site of the last CSC and it is just outside chicago so many poeple can find it.

East-Secaucus,NJ
The site of the ECSTS 2000,2001 abnd the site of the ECSC
Its my predictions on the SC locations

Hmmmm *crosses fingers*, let's just hope that they place the Stadium Challenge in Dallas! No long drives for this Patriarch! =D

I can't wait to see what's in store for OP later this year. All I know is....gooooooo Dallas!

The Stadium for CA will be in San Diego like always, because they dont like the bay area(northern ca) for some reasons =\. I'm betting a GC will be Northern CA, and a SC will be in SoCal like always.
