[/font][font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]This tournament will feature a "sealed deck" format. Each player will receive 6 prerelease boosters and have 30 minutes to construct a 40-card deck. Basic Energy cards will be provided. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the tournament based on points earned during the rounds of age-modified swiss pairings.[/font]

[/font][font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Each player competing in this prerelease event will receive a special promotional card available only by participating in this tournament. [/font]

[font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]2nd -- 18 prerelease booster packs

[/font][/font][font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]We will be having a special non-sanctioned, non-competitive, Preconstructed Deck Tournament which will run concurrently with the main Prerelease. The entry fee is $20. This event is for all those younger players who are just coming into the game, who want to learn the game in an easy, fun, environment, and have someone help them with their play. [/font]

[font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Each player will receive a preconstructed deck to play with in the event--there is no deck building. A parent, older sibling, or friend may assist those playing to help them learn the game and have fun! Every participant will receive 3 packs of FireRed LeafGreen (equaling the product and cost of the main event). At the conclusion of the tournament, the top 50% of the players will receive an additional pack of FireRed LeafGreen.[/font]​

Directions to Pair A Dice:

Coming from the West:
Exit I-5 at the 78 in Oceanside/Carlsbad
Take 78 West to Plaza Dr exit
Turn Left at the light and go past the DMV
Go until you see a shopping center on the right with In-N-Out and Goodyear Tires in it, and you're there!


Coming from the East:
Exit I-15 at the 78 in Escondido
Take 78 West to Emerald Dr exit
Turn Left then turn right at the second stop light.
Go until you see a shopping center on the right with In-N-Out and Goodyear Tires in it, and you're there!

I just want to make sure everyone sees that this is a new location in San Diego. It is being held at Pair A Dice games in the Vista/Oceanside area rather than Game Empire.

Hey does anyone know if the VIP pass still saves me 5 bucks even though they saids it wouldn't work after worlds?
