I don't care what any of them do I want them all especially honch. I want to put at least some of my 10+ honchrows to use.

Gallade lv.X, not Gardevoir.
Yeah, it's weird. I think someone over there really likes Gardy. This is like the 50th Gardy we have had, and this is the first non-DP Lv.X Pokemon. Plus, we now have Gallade, so why not have Gallade as the Lv.X? There must be a woman in charge of choosing who becomes an EX and Lv.X, because Gardy is way overdone. :p

Only the one with the same artwork!

Not true at all...
Artwork doesn't matter. As long as the text of the card is the same, you can use it (Of course, if you're using a Japanese card, you need a translation anyways).
It's the same reason you can play Base set Pluspower and Pikachu in your deck.

No, BT, you frankly could not be more wrong.

If the art on a Japanese version is different, it cannot be used. If the artwork has not been released in the United States, the card cannot be used.

Some PTOs are lax on that rule, but my feeling is that my Japanese is not good enough to ensure that there is not some slight wording change that I am not aware of.

Talk to you soon.

also BT you cannot use the Old Plus power etc due to bad wording etc on the card much like you can't use the old myst fossil

meganium45 - I have NEVER heard of this rule. I don't mean any disrespect or anything, but it seems absolutely ridiculous. Where is this rule located?

DarkMagnus - As long as you have a copy of the newest version of the card outside your deck, you can use old versions with slight wording differences (Case in point being Steven's Advice.)
Also, I don't even think there is any difference between base set pluspower and DP pluspower.

Here's a topic in Ask the Masters about it (keep in mind, this topic was made before the silver Victory Medal was released in English for Autumn Battle Roads).

I believe this is the relevant portion of the Tournament Rules (emphasis mine):

14.1.6. Unreleased Cards
From time to time players will acquire cards from a new set prior to its
regular release date, usually via a Prerelease or the Japanese equivalent of
the set. These cards may not be used in sanctioned tournaments until the
regular release date of the set, as outlined in Section 16, with one
exception. Cards that are already tournament legal which have been
reprinted in an unreleased set, or the Japanese equivalent, may be used as
long they are easily identifiable as a reprinted card. This is typically only
an issue when a reprinted card receives new art, though other factors may
create a similar issue.
These cards should always be played with the most
recent wording of the tournament legal version of the card.
Players who are unsure as to whether an unreleased card meets the
exception above should check with the Head Judge prior to the start of the
event.

Anyone knows the Lv. X we are getting in SW? Because the rumor of delaying the Palkia, Dialga, Darkrai Lv. X Forms for the movie is confusing me...

And, anyone see the spoiler? (The updated one, with New Weavile, Magmotar, Vire, etc...) What cards they put in and what cards them put out?

Thanks! :thumb:
