Special Metal vs. Raichu X Link Lightning

Ok, so Link Lightning states than when you level up and you use Voltage Shoot, you may use another one of Raichu's attacks.

Special Metal reduces damage done to the metal pokemon it is attached to from an attack

My question is, if you attack a metal pokemon with special metal attached to it (let's say 3 Special Metal) would both attacks get reduced by 30? or would it just get reduced by 30 once.

Each is a seperate attack, so Metal would count for each of them independantly
