Worlds is soon to be upon us and when playing competetive games on a high level it is more important than ever to remember that pokemon is a noble game played with both written and unwritten rules.
Pokemon is a game of skill, luck friendsship and fun its a game that shows the best as well as the worst side of people. What we as competetive players must therefore do is to set good examples.
We should help our countrymen, playtest hard and most importantly never screw over people who need our help, be a good sportsman.
When we meet our opponent we should shake hands exchange names and shown that to us the person is not some random chump, winners care and learn from their opponents. When we play we should allways be hornest don't try to wait a little too long to correct your opponents mistake in the hope of gain, play fair. Äfterall most people who forget things like chilly breath makes playing mistakes aswell and taking advantage of those is not only fair, but good game.
Do not brag you don't like to hear it from others and don't critizise others choices for the sake of critizism. They do not want to hear it and telling people how they should do may even be hazardous later (you may meet them again). If they ask you may give your oppinion , but else shut up. Nothing is more distressing than loosing becaurse of a misplay and then have you opponent happily point it out.
Accept that your opponent is stressed and keep it fair, High level competition is stressful do not try to take advantage by taunting you opponent. Do not toy with you opponent, play the best plays at all times making a game last longer just to agonise a helpless opponent is cruel.
Call over a jugde when necesary, "better safe than sorry" a jugde should be called to clear mistakes. Do not try to fix it yourself, youre doing no one a favor the rules are there for a reason.
Help your friends and countrymen and they will be there to help you..

Remeber Spirit of the game at all times..

Good luck at worlds
