the same cards but with a different picture and standard jumbo cards. No badges or anything else? Badges and new cards (not reprints with or without a different picture) would have been a great thing for a league who everyone has most of the prizes you can offer. I'm going to have to go into the prizes i won at Arundel Mills to help out the prize support *sighs*. Come on Nintendo, you're capable of better than this.

Thanks for the links marril2k .

Badges WILL be coming back. I have no idea how they'll be fitting in to the BattleZone League format but they'll make a come back. That is one thing, believe it or not, that people actually wanted, in addition to the badgebooks and stampers (and stickers). I would personally like to see them all but including badgebooks would jack up the price on league kits like no other. (heck the WotC books were $5 a pop)

Promos...hmmm I'd personally like some 'new' stuff (rather than just alternate arts) but I guess the reverse foil makes up for that. The one problem with the badgebooks was that players would sometimes go home empty handed for weeks. The battlezone style enables players to walk off with at least a promo every week...I'd like to see more of a variety of promos to earn per season (looks like we'll be seeing some of that once the ladder starts) but only time can tell

Nice, I liked BZ, so I'll like this. Let's just hope it comes to Europe sometime soon. BTW is the rest of Europe getting BZ kits (RMewtwo & RHitmonchan) for 2 more seasons, or just Holland? Gives Nintendo plenty of time (till november) to get leagues set up for Europe.

Last Kits delivered by WotC UK were the May kits :(

I actually run my league up in Portsmouth New Hampshire at a store called JumpGate. here is the location info:

JUMPGATE
2800 Lafayette Road
Portsmouth, NH 03801
(603) 430-0222
website

All the major mass premier events seem to be run at a store called Tj's Collectables... this is where all the Super BattleZones where held, and today's Ruby & Sapphire challenge:

Tj's Collectables
160 Main Street
Milford, MA
(dont know the phone off hand...)
website

Glad you guys like the images, sorry they where not as good... my scanner is out of action right now so i had to use my digital camera to get them up @_@. Intresting to hear about badges though... hmmm.... a newer and improved green star stamper could be nice (larger ink life?)

League Kits should be free everywhere. There's no reason why they should cost money, it's a kit for advertising purposes.

Very nice, I am going to have to get some of the stores around this area to get off their hands and start ordering there kits. Cant wait to get some of the new cards.

Well..obviously..

I am attempting to start a league. I've not received kits yet (should be in this week) and I'm still waiting on an alternate (and bigger) location to run it. I'll post details in the Tournaments forum when I get everything finalized

I'll agree with that if PC/Nintendo is going to back it up with a big stick for those shops that take the kits and turn around and "eBay" the contents without actually running a league and giving the promos and so forth to the players.

For Illinois, if you are in the middle or south of the state, I am running 2 leagues in the St. Louis area. One on Wednesday nights 6-8 pm and one on Saturday Afternoon 3-5:30 pm

So some for the north, and some for the rest.

Answering the question above:
Your store contacts P-USA to arrange setting up a League and buying the kits.

I am running a league @ BSI Comics in Covington, LA, Fridays @ 6. We got our kit in, they're pretty much like the BZ kits, with the jumbo winner, the winner foils, and a promo for everyone. Only the store manager and/or owner can order kits. The kits are free.

All kits are free? Or just the first? I have only heard that the first is free.

Well Nintendo did it again.
Why not sending these new kits to Europe, why no prerelease tournaments overhere. What about Sandstorm, nothing heard of it.
I hoped that Nintendo could made pokemon a world covering game, but again failed.
