NC had a total of 110...

I do not know the final tally for Washington but it was huge I heard we had over 200 particpants, and there was 6 rounds of swiss for all 3 age groups. T8 for Jr, Sr and T16 for masters.

Jr: 138 last year: 113; 22% growth
Sr: 149 Last year: 138; 7.97% growth
Ma: 329 Last year: 197; 67% growth

Total: 616 Last year: 448; 37.5% growth

And I'm pretty certain I know why Minnesota didn't get the kind of growth that everybody else got. It was on the same weekend as Iowa and Wisconsin, and a lot of the players from last year were from (I believe) Wisconsin.

IMO, that's fantastic growth for a game on life support not 5 years ago.

For sure! We had something in the 70's last year! Lots of new people to enter! ! from TX...some from TN- couple from FL...
