Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Sub VS Dub

Cons:

Voices sound "fake"
This is rather a matter of opinion.

I don't think it should really be counted as concrete fact.

I personally can't stand the subs. Japanese female voice acting grates on my ears, and most of the sub-translation is off and about as bad as the dub-translation.

People say it's more "official" if you watch a sub, but in the end, if you can't understand the raw Japanese, it's no more legit than watching the dub; the subs are just as "Americanized" as the dubs.

The Japanese have a penchant for putting in unbearable voices. I tried watching Fullmetal Alchemist in Japanese, but stopped because Al was so annoying.

I'd also point out that FMA: Brotherhood is RIGHT NOW using techniques that the American dub started to improve the track.

Point being, sometimes the Japanese voice track is awful. It all depends.

I like watching Anime in its original form so I prefer Subs. I have noticed that in Cowboy Bebop episode "Mushroom Samba" the Dub is wrong in a few scenes. The main one is where Ed is counting down on a scooter to go somewhere. The actual line is "ichi, ni, yon, go, konnichiwa." , but the dub line is "And a one, two, three, four, five, here we go." Its things like that annoy me. I've bought and watched imported Japanese Anime Movies on my import PS2 and for the most part you can tell what they are saying.

For me it depends on the particular anime like FMA the dub in my opininion is way better than the subbed version, and in one piece the dub was horrible.
