Just reached 40 stars. I haven't been playing it long although we got it for Christmas, because I was so engrossed in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. Just had the funnest boss battle ever against the Bouldergeist guy.

Get all 120 stars as Mario, beat the game again, then a second file will appear in that file, which you get to start as Luigi.

After you get all 120 Luigi stars and re-beat the game, the Grand Finale Galaxy will be open. On both files, if you go to the back of the planet with the Trial Galaxies, you will find a fourth Green Luma. It will send you to the Grand Finale Galaxy. This Galaxy is The original Star Festival at the beginning of the game when Bowser first comes. You must get all 100 Purple Coins, then the star will appear. Unfortunately, you cannot jump into the water, leave the palace grounds, or even enter the castle. A mail toad will give you a letter on the Wii Message Board, which comes with a picture of either Mario and Peach, or of Luigi and what's-her-name.

I think the ending was a tad bit confusing. Now, I wouldn't mind if you could enter the castle and explore around a bit...

Alright, after getting quite far on Super Luigi Galaxy, here are the two things that I think were the worst parts:
1. Final Bowser
Okay, the first two were great. They captured what truly made Bowser Bowser. On the third one, it just wasn't Bowsery enough. It was just a jumble of planets. The way Bowser fought was bad, too. I mean, additional planets is great, but how come Bowser turns himself into a rock?
2. Super LUIGI Galaxy
Alright, they could have made this so much better. All they did was replace Mario with Luigi. There was even a 'twin' of Luigi who did what Luigi did in Mario Galaxy. They could have put Mario there instead. Rather than you finding Mario and getting the star, it could have been that Mario needed your help to get the star, and you do something similar to the Majora's Mask event controlling that other guy. And then, at the end, when Luigi did the final hit on Bowser, Mario jumps out of the air and hits Bowser, knocking him away, and Mario takes all of the credit. :thumb:

i got galaxy 10 days ago and just got the 120th star. the hardest star is luigi's purple coins hands down. i dont think i will be replaying as luigi. i dont see the point. plus luigi has such slippery controls. i kept falling into black holes.
