"ngredient: Jolteon EX
At first glance I thought “This shouldn’t be too bad.” But then as I started to build decks I discovered that, as it is with all good decks I guess, it became increasingly harder to get all the cards that I wanted to in the deck. I tried building a weakness tech deck (Dk. Golbat, Glalie, +Psychic that I never decided which one because that’s way too many weaknesses to cover (all fighting counters) and get a searcher in there). I tried a Spinning Tail combo (not creative and there’s better combos out there for that already). I thought about an Eeveeloution but none of the available ones to me really work that well. I know you might say Umbreon/Espeon but you can’t do enough evolving to make that work even if you try to Surprise Time Machine/Briney‘s. You’ll never pull it off enough. I think Flareon EX will work very well but I can’t use that. Then I found Gatr EX and the synergy was too much to resist. At first look this deck you may think that Jolteon EX is not the main focus however let me assure you that Jolteon Ex is an integral part of the deck. Without Jolteon EX this version of the deck will not work. So with out further ado I present to you … JolteGatr.
Pokémon(20)
3 Eevee
3 Jolteon EX
3 Feraligatr EX
2 Croconaw
3 Totodile
3 Slugma
2 Magcargo (DX) (I know Gatr shuts down your power but remember you’ve got the Warp Points and your opponent will be trying to deactivate Gatr so they can search. If they can’t then your still on equal ground)
1 Magcargo (UF)
Trainers (25)
3 Battle Frontier
3 Warp Point (abuse Jolteon’s free retreat)
3 TV Reporter
2 Prof. Elm’s Training Method
2 Rare Candy (early and consistent bench damage is the main drive)

2 Rocket’s Admin.
2 Steven’s
2 Crystal Shard
2 Exp. All (you’ll need these because you can‘t attach DRE or Scramble to EX‘s)
1 ATM Rock (you are heavy bench damage after all, but only 1 because you only have Croconaw and Magcargo to use it on)
1 Pokémon Retriever

The goal of this deck is to get a Dark Tyranitar up and using Spinning Tail. You'll also want to get several Eevee onto your bench, then you can search out Jolteon in order to put 1 damage counter on all of your opponent's pokemon. You want to do this as much as you can. Once you have enough damage on your opponent's pokemon, you can use an ATM Rock to knock some things out; This is one place where the Sand Damage Tyranitar may become very useful.
Since the deck has horrendous fighting weakness, I've included a Protective orb that can be attached to the Spinning Tail Tyranitar to allow you to use it during matches against fighting type pokemon. This is also one of the reasons I've included the Sand Damage Tyranitar.
The energy probably look strange, but there is no real need for type energy in this deck, so this should help keep your options open. I play 1 each of warp and cyclone because they both have effects that are good, and as I said, there really isn't anything better to play. There are 2 Lightning in case you want to attack with Jolteon, maybe in order to take advantage of an opponent's weakness, but you probably won't need (or want) to use it much otherwise.
I would not like to play 4 of either of the stadiums I chose, as Rocket's Hideout can be counter-productive against other decks with Dark pokemon in them, and you just don't need to play 4 Tricky Gym, so I decided to split them and play two each."
