TFG Tournaments?

Will this game have prize support, tournaments, prereleases and even a world championships? If it does when will they be? Wouldnt that affect and collide with the US's Pokemon TCG tournament schedule? Like pokemon tcg events on the same day as a TFG event. Is this a one set deal? They've released very little infomation on this TFG. So it could be. Thoughts?

I think it'll largely depend on how well the game sells; if it has good sales and takes off, tournaments and the like are likely to follow.

I got to talk to Jimmer and the Creators during Origins. They are looking at adding OP (leagues and Tournaments) but they want to wait until the products gets out and established. The creators also said that the were putting the finishing touches on the 2nd set so it shouldn't be a 1-hit wonder.

Yea me too because I dont like any other card games other then the pokemon franchise. At league everyone plays the TCG and DS game. I dont play the video game. Now with the TFG coming out at pokemon leagues there is more stuff to do with a majority of people. So if I like the TFG I can have another thing to do along with the TCG for fun or maybe competetive.

I honestly dont care whether theres tournaments but i hope it dosn't totally take over all the leagues so all were doing is TFG instead of the TCG. I really think it wont do aswell as the TCG because as has been said more than once, the TFG relies on luck and random chance, The TCG takes some random chance with the card draws, and yuor starting hand, but if you build your deck well, and have good skillz(yeah i said skillz:cool:),you can still come back. somewhat.

My store is really big on minature games. So I hope there is OP as well because I believe it could catch on in my area. Sounds like a good game.

When the TFG was released in europe, there had been word that tournaments, leagues, pre-releases and championships would happen. However due to the high cost in the UK and most of europe this is increasing more unlikely. A tournament was plan in the UK around april-may period but I've heard nothing about it so most than likely that it didn't happen.

I would like all the above to happen, however if nintendo doesn't keep their cost down than i don't think i may happen.
