Nanette, this is Debbie from Washington, what a great article you have written here. I am truly speechless and for those that know me....WOW! You are the most deserving person for years to come. It will be hard to find anyone who can measure up to you. Thank you for setting a great example for us all.
 
Great article Nanette. Selecting you as the first recipient of the Cason Award was pretty easy. You live the Spirit of the Game each and every day. Finding someone to follow in your footsteps next year may be a slightly more difficult task. I'm sure we will be able to do it though, because this game seems to bring out the best in people. Congratulations once again.

I so enjoy talking with you and seeing you at the events wondering "who"(dressing up in costume) is going to show up this time. Thanks for being you and for who you are. I remamber Cason, we didnt talk much, but he sounds like a great guy.
 
It only took a few hours upon meeting you to tell that I had never met another person with a better attitude towards others. It was truly a delight to meet you, and despite the fact that I've only seen you once, I can already tell that you deserved this award. Congratulations on upholding the spirit of the game in every sence of it's important meaning. I hope to see you again soon!
