typhlosion magmortar infernape

    2 magmortar
    1 magmortar lv.x
    3 chimchar
    1 monferno
    2 infernape
    2 infernape lv.x

    energies:

    4 DRE
    14 Fire energy

    Trainers:

    3 copycat
    3 celio's network
    2 Ngiht Maintenence
    3 Castaway
    2 Tv Reporter
    2 super scoop up
    2 windstorms
    3 rare candy





    Strategy: THe main attacker is Infernape. need to have typhlosion up first so infernape can power up. Magmortar lv.x can be powered too. TYphlosion helps with energy providing. start with flare blitz. get energy in discard pile. After it takes heavy damage, u super scoop him up. and bring out magmortar lv.x to snipe with 100, after opponent is burned. infernape would be on the bench. if magmortar lv.x is K.O, bring out infernape and level up to do 150.

    i've had a problem with trainer usage and energy shortage. Anyone with ideas, please reply ASAP.

    If anyone has delcatty/ex, i'll will trade a lot for them.

    -6 fire energy and 1 infernape lvx

    +3 tv reorter (for draw and discard energy)
    +1 Magmortar
    +1 Magmar
    +1 Magby (since you cant really discard energys from you hand too much and recycle back to ur hand unless ssu)
    +1 Infernape \

    why should i take out fire energies, i need them for infernape lv.x. Magmortar doesn't make you discard cards ffrom your hand if magby is under it.

    By the way, i'll give you 3 castaways for a magmortar and a magmar.

    Err... magby is definitely not the play in this deck. Discarding 2 energies with magmortar's attacks and then recycling them with typhlo really comes in handy, and it also helps if you need to flare up with ape.

    -3 fire

    +4 Celio

    +2 TVR

    sure but dont u still need typlosion


    anyway your're still need 3 tv reporter s to discard energys so take out like 3 fires for them the point of infernape is to recycle you're energy's so you don't need that many and with tv reporters u discard fire energies.

    magmortar helps discard energies from the hand. INfernape Lv.x power helps discard 2 more. Tv. reporter discards 1 more. If i had delcatty and delcatty ex, i could have about in one turn.

    two stage twos and a stage one are too clunky together
    take out either the ape or the typho

    i've played this deck, and when played right, it isn't by any means slow. All 3 of the evos have their place in the strategy.

    That said... I overlooked the fact you don't play any candies.

    +3 Rare Candy

    take out 1 infer lv x for regular infernape

    I played a version that actually focused on the Magmortar and Infernaper Lv.X in the deck, you would max out your draw power and draw out your deck until you have simple basic fire left in the deck. Magmortar and Ape Lv.X can discard with the power and constant recycle and plow. It's not too shabby. And Gyrados* worked well as a tech.

    Agreed. It's not only that all three together would be clunky. It would also be really redundant. I would suggest that you scrap the Infernape line in favor of some sort of draw/search pokemon. I guess it could work with three stage twos if your third was Nidoqueen DF or Meganium DF.

    i am against decks that use castaway but run no tools. scoops arent really needed.
