UF Energy Evolution Eevee

Energy Evolution - Whenever you attach an Energy card from your hand to Eevee, you may search your deck for a card that evolves from Eevee that is the same type as the Energy card you attached to Eevee. Put that card onto Eevee. (This counts as evolving Eevee.) Shuffle your deck afterward. This power can't be used when you attach an Energy card to Eevee as part of an attack's effect. (Poke-POWER)

Question 1: Can this Eevee get evolved on the first turn?

Question 2: Could a Pokemon with an Ability identical to this get evolved on the first turn?

Question 3: If I were to attach a Special Energy (say, Rainbow), would I be able to Evolve this Eevee using the Ability?

Question 4: If I were to attach a Rainbow Energy, would I be able to evolve this Eevee using the Ability into any Eeveelution I wanted?

Q. For Neo Discovery Eevee, can you attach an energy and using its power (if heads) and evolve first turn?
A. Yes, this is now permissible. (Jul 22, 2004 PUI Rules Team)

Q. If I attach a Rainbow Energy to Eevee, what Energy type does it count as for "Energy Evolution"?
A. Whatever Energy type you would like - if you decide to use its Poké-Power after attaching a Rainbow Energy, you can look through your deck for any of Eevee's evolution cards to put onto it. You don't need to announce the Energy type before searching your deck. (Aug 11, 2005 PUI Rules Team)

Q. If I attach a Multi Energy to Eevee, what Energy type does it count as for "Energy Evolution"?
A. If there are no other Special Energy Cards already attached, then it behaves the same as when attaching a Rainbow Energy. Otherwise, it counts as colorless and you cannot search through your deck. (Aug 11, 2005 PUI Rules Team)

Q. What happens if I attach an energy type to Eevee that it doesn't have an evolution for (i.e. Grass, Fighting, etc.)?
A. Since Eevee has no evolution of that particular energy type, you do not get to search through your deck. (Aug 11, 2005 PUI Rules Team)

Q. Will Eevee's "Energy Evolution" power still trigger if it has an Energy attached to it while it's affected by a Special Condition?
A. There is no text on the card to say it's shut off, so it still works even when afflicted by a Special Condition. (Aug 25, 2005 PUI Rules Team)

Q. If I attach an energy to Eevee during the first turn of the game, can I use it's "Energy Evolution" Poké-POWER right away?
A. The current ruling allows Poké-Powers to avoid first-turn evolution restrictions. You can evolve using the "Energy Evolution" power on Eevee's first turn in play, even on the first turn of the game. (Aug 25, 2005 PUI Rules Team)

Q. What happens, if my Eevee has 10 HP left and I attach a Rainbow Energy to it, can I use Energy Evolution to save it from KO by evolving to a higher HP Eeveelution?
A. Both actions (placing the damage counter from the Rainbow energy and evolving using the Poké-POWER) happen at the same time, so the player using Eevee gets to decide the order of the actions.
