Gonna start a little pre-registration soon so get ready for action...

In the meantime don't forget that the Gamers Guild will be hosting the normal 4th Sunday Tourney on 28th March and that in April we plan a oldstyle sealed deck and booster event at the guild on the 25th April.

So watch the boards for details as spaces for April are limited.

I might be able to come to the one in April. :)
Ben: What's an old style sealed deck?

You'll be given a sealed pre-con from the WotC era plus 3 boosters from Legendary to build a 60 card deck. The pre-constructs will be issued randomly and should give your deck a great start and the boosters will add a boost to that.

You get to keep all the cards afterwards and there will be promo, booster pack and otehr pokegoodies up for grabs.

Pretty much, like yourself and Ian, it looks like I've got no way to qualify for nationals unless I play but for the good of the game, as usual, we'll band together!! Count me in!!

Well we have so far in the judge team :

    Ben Ward (ukpokemonpro)
    Ian Fotheringham (NoPoke)
    Martin Griggs (Mr.Plushy)
    Graeme Gleaves
Martin Banham (only if you lot are lazy enuff to not volunteer)

Much as I would like to use Mr Banhams expertise there are a lot more of you Professors out there who can help as NoPoke says time to put up!

Don't the Netherlands have tournaments qualifying for their Nationals too? I found these at

    • 10-4-2004: Zaterdag 10 april, Leiden te Noord-Holland
    • 18-4-2004: Modified, NKQ Made te Noord-Brabant
    • 23-4-2004: Unlimited, Almere te Flevoland
    • 1-5-2004: Modified, NKQ Leiden [11-14 jaar] te Zuid-Holland
    • 2-5-2004: Modified, NKQ Leiden [10- en 15+] te Zuid-Holland
    • 14-5-2004: Unlimited, Almere te Flevoland
    • 23-5-2004: Modified, NKQ Amsterdam te Noord-Holland
    • 5-6-2004: Pokemon Unlimited toernooi, Groningen te Grog.
With the NKQ's Nationals, State or CC equivalents.

Freddy yes we have 3 qualifiers (only City championships no State), but so what.
If I offer to fly over and judge so you can have official a State championship, is it then to much to ask if my kids can play for the full mounthy.

Today we had the first of the total 3 CC's and 2 byes went to Belgium players.
Should we ban them because they come from another country (like the UK provider does) because they meaby walk away with the floridatrip, no way.
It was a very challenging day and it's going to make some of us even try harder to win the next CC, that's the game.
I enjoyed it from the begin to the end.

And now a message for Michel who won the bye today:
You are banned as Professor and you know why (see in you in Utrecht)

Okay SE Challenge 6 will be the UK Regional and there will be 8 Places at Nationals available for the top 8 in each age group.

There will a normal SE challenge too for those City Challenge winners :)
