Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

UK - City Championship Dates 2007/2008 Season

As plans go, yeah that isn't too bad to be honest; still a little room for improvement but I won't complain. But the problem at hand is that the plan it's not really being stuck to or managed. Generally the North seems to be a bit left out and forgotten.

As for us specifically; we're here, ready and waiting - tried various forms of contact but we've heard nothing back. I'm sure if the same situation were applied to you Ben, you would also be a bit peeved and frustrated. I'll try and give Chris another ring today, but failing that were a bit up the proverbial creek without a paddle, save getting in touch with PUSA.

I can't help but recall the 6Ps which was emphasised whilst learning to fly light aircraft.

6Ps not withstanding any plan is only as good as its execution.

I am not saying I am not peeved or frustrated , contact with Chris and DNA games is sporadic and at times not possible. That said I do get calls returned something TPfG never did! Even if I have to wait a while.

All I was pointing out was that in terms of numbers of planned CC's the north does not do badly compared to the south. Now delivery on plan.. that is a different fish kettle scenario.

The plan seems to have been for 7 out of 20 CC's north of the M25 - hardly seems that the player base north of the border is getting stiffed?

Remeber it's two in Leicester and Manchester and then Crewe, Blackpool and the planned Scottish CC. I won't count Norwich as they are really not north or midlands - just out in the boonies :D - Sorry you guys in Norfolk but it is true!

If you want to include Norwich that is 8 CC's planned north of the border.. that seemed to be a fair plan..

The scottish CC should have been sanctioned and I will chase this up.

Do we value the player base north of the border?? Flat answer yes. We are working atm on new locations up north and hopefully these will come online shortly

Ah Dont Worry You Players Up Noth - A Travler(s) Can Stay At My Place In London If Needed. Can Accomodate 3-4 People And Have Been TO Most Of The CC venues in and near London So Dont Worry Bout It If Ure Annoyed About Up North. Anyhows Op Rocks Lately.

I will leave Crewe up since I need to confirm with the TO that it is not happening - I am getting conflicting reports second and third hand on the why it maybe cancelled.

Hi,
Crewe CC is cancelled, and now it says so on the listing.

Understood that you couldn't cancel it without some certainty! I won their CC last year, does that mean I win this one automatically

Their League play will continue, though; I misunderstood originally. My reaction to Crewe no longer holding Premier Events was my reaction as a player. Its my nearest place to play so naturally I'm sad to see it go.

-x-

The listing for Bournemouth CC is missing some information. Anyway its all on the POP site now, perhaps it wasn't before, but it is mistitled?

Added Brighton's new date and venue to list, taken brighton off the tbc list :thumb: I like the £5-01 entrance fee too  Although I demand to know what the extra penny is going to be used for.. Promotion of Pokemonism? Plans for Stephen Kish's World Domination of Pokemon>? The public should know!

Everyone needs to be able to spend a penny sometime.

Not sure that everyone will like the £4.99 change from a tenner.
