For all you Pokemon players in the UK, the first Unlimited 150 tournament will be held at Fanboy3 in Manchester on Saturday 15th of September starting at 11AM. Come along and try this emerging new format and win great Pokemon prizes!

For anyone unfamiliar with the rules of 150 have a look at the thread here on PokeGym: http://cpdmtest.pokegym.net/forums/showthread.php?t=163570
Updates on the tournament will be posted on the Official 150 Facebook page first which you can find in my sig. along with a link to an article on 150.

Because it will be semi-competitive, a few specific rules will apply:
*All cards errata'd into exs by the 150 rules must be clearly marked before the tournament (such as a sticker or paper note in the sleeve).
*Decks using cards with different backs must be in opaque sleeves.
*Any foreign language card or an older card with updated text must be used with the latest English version as reference. The real card or a printed version are both acceptable reference. Cards become legal as they're released anywhere in the world.
*Regarding Trainer cards reprinted with errata / totally new rules, the latest printing applies. The only exception are cards which have been "reprinted" with different card types, e.g. Trainer - Pokemon Center and Stadium - Pokemon Center are different cards but any Trainer - Great Ball will use the Emerging Powers text.
*This setup sequence will be used: Decide who goes 1st. Both draw your 15 card starting hand, each player may have 1 free mulligan regardless of having a Basic Pokemon or not then mulligans are taken as normal. Choose your 8 prizes from your hand and set them aside randomly, face down. Place your active Pokemon and any benched Pokemon face down. Flip over your Pokemon and begin, the player going 1st may not play any Trainers, Supporters or Stadiums on their 1st turn.
*For this tournament Jumpluff (Dragons Exalted) will join the partial ban group with Mismagius GL LV.X and Porygon 2 (Unseen Forces) until further testing has been made.

Why is Jumpluff DRX banned, but Fossil Tentacool not?

Tentacool Fossil: "this Power can't be used the turn you put Tentacool into play"
That's the important part, the best you can do is heal 20 damage with it rather than ALL damage off ALL Pokemon every turn, with no loss of resources. Got to admit though, you made me panic for a moment... but I think we've got all the good infinite combos covered before the tournament, there should be a lot of varied decks showing up :D
