Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

~*Unofficial Pokemon Black and White Thread*~

I find it interesting that some elite 4 members have "broken" pokies, as well as some other game charactors in the games history.

A level 54 (?) Hydriegon, a Dragonite that is illegit ( ya know, that "famouse" trainer), seems to me that the games can have some INTERESTING Pokies for what we go against in the tougher battles.

I took the time to get my own legit Hydreigon @ lvl 64, and spanked Ghetsis with one simple move. Dragon rushed his cheating/hacked Hydry right out of the league along with the rest of his pathetic pokies.
So there! HA ha ha haahhh! LEGIT POKIES DO RUN THE BLOCK!

OT- finished white

I took a dive against Ghetsis (lossed on purpose) to get a good Zekrom. Just today (like 1:30 a.m.) beat the game, @44h3min.

I'm grinding a bit until I get to the fifth gym on white. I'll probably catch some stuff and switch my team a bit.

I just got the ultimate level up.

Every so often, at the sport domes, there is a person with a level 65 Audino. I made a level one just to beat it, a yamask with curse, since it's only attacking move is double edge. I gave it a lucky egg, and used the entralink EXP booster. Using curse, I let the audino's HP sink as it couldn't hit me. Once it fainted I gained...

118528 EXP

Grew to level 49. That was amazing.

^ nice! I have notice that getting exp. in bnl is way easier for lvl'n up-

getting good money in the game too, sold a relic statue for 200,000 to the rich dude in the mansion villa,

using the amulate coin with pay-day ( transfered lvl 100 Persion ) seems to be working nice as well. double the cash, with pick up bonus and being able to rebattle certain trainers = $$$$$$$$!

Mmm you have a good idea...wish I thought of blogging my game play through Black; I'll have to remember to do this when I get my White version and run through it...at my point all I'm doing is RNG/EV training and VGC prep lol, which is fairly unexciting to blog about.

So chose Tepig and named him Shamus... going ot go Irish Scottish names... anyone have some good female Names??

Could someone help on my Strategy of the Random match up thing?

Serperior w/ Rose Incense
Attract
Growth
Leaf Blade
Frenzy Plant

Bisharp w/ Razor Claw
Attract
X-Scissor
Iron Defense
Night Slash

Gigalith w/ Rock Incense
Rock Slide
Stealth Rock
Stone Edge
Attract

Krookodile w/ BlackGlasses
Earthquake
Foul Play
Crunch
Dig

I like to use Attract to stop the opponent from attacking or doing anything (excluding switching Pokemon -_-)

Update for the Pokemon not aloud in random match up:

Victini Lv.56 w/ BrightPowder
Zen Headbutt
Flame Burst
Searing Shot
Headbutt

Zekrom Lv.56 w/ Rocky Helmet
Draco Metoer
Fly
Zen Headbutt
Fusion Bolt

Overall I thought the game was pretty easy. I haven't played Pokemon since the days of Fire Red ad Leaf Green, but I found Black very enjoyable nevertheless. I beat the main game in under 20 hours, but I have yet to beat the elite 4 the second time and then face Alder.

Well for starters, drop Attract; too unreliable and risky if you can't match up the genders for starters. Serperior needs a complete revamp, either decide if you want Growth and a SpA set or Coil and a Atk set, plus drop the whole mono-grass thing. If you can, breed Sucker Punch onto Bisharp over Attract, drop Iron Defense for SD, and probably ditch Night Slash for something like X-Scissor. Gigalith, again drop Attract for EQ, drop either Stone Edge or RS (but keep 1 of them) for maybe Explosion? For Krookodile, drop Foul Play and Dig for Rock Slide and something like Outrage or Dragon Claw, maybe a fang if you need the coverage. I'm not sure how the random matchup works exactly, but if it's like doubles or something, consider Protect on some of your Pokemon. For the items, drop all of your current ones for stuff like Life Orb, Leftovers, things that are generally good over the generic weak boost things you have on.
