Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

~ URGENT! TJ's Milford, MA CC - Change in Start Time Due to Snow Storm ~

For anyone who needs help with what modified constructed is we just put up a link to the official list on the tj web site.
Please make sure that you are on time for these. We really will be starting at 11:00. Players who arrive past 11:00 will enter the tournament with a round 1 loss. We don't enjoy seeing players recieve round 1 losses. It is UNFAIR to the players who were on time for us to wait for someone who is running late. We do have a cap in Arlington, MA of 54 players. We hope that everyone will have a great city season.

this is great. they made it so that the ones i would usually go to would be on the same day. my parents will most likely make me choose. CRAP!

What do you mean? There are no events in NE on the same day. They all have different dates. Do you mean the same day as something else you are involved in? Hope to see you at some. I know Dylan enjoys seeing you.

Is there anyway we can pre-register for the tourney.

Arlington, MA

Arlington will not have any pre registration. It will be filled by the first to register. 54 is alot of seats. I am not sure if we will fill or not. The fair way seems to be first come basis.

The rest of the venues don't have this kind of restriction.

hope this helps

Tom

Just as a point of information, the Lexington MA CC run by a different TO will be held the same day, Jan 4, 2009. This CC will have also have limited seating, I believe 60 players, due to the smaller size of the new store location. Seating for this event will also be on a first-come-first served basis with no pre-registration. Between the 2 locations in neighboring towns, hopefully everyone who wants to play will get a seat. I will post the details in a separate thread, just putting the info out there for the players in the meantime.

Binder, playmat, and hat were awarded to first place along with their packs and medal (medals will be given out at a later date as they have not arriveed yet) . All others in top cut got the appropriate number of packs and a pokeball.

Thanks to Rising Phoenix Games for hosting our first New England City Championship of this season. We had a fabulous turnout for Thanksgiving weekend. Lots of travelers too! Thanks to all the staff and judges who kept the tournament running smoothly! Great job players for moving the play along to keep us going. See you all at the next tournament.

NOTE: As is always the case, I will post winners and tournament stats but will NOT post deck names or Pokemon in decks etc. If players want to do that, it is fine. It is up to the individual player to decide, not me.
