I liked St. louis because in our hotel we could here the baseball game, and see the arch. The center was 2 blocks away from us

This statement is the ONLY thing ill agree with about St Louis being good. The game was seeable from the room and the arch at night was a beautiful view. Beyond that i dont agree with ST Louis being top for nats as a sopt.

I couldn't see either of them from where I was so ya... kind of an invalid argument for having it back in St. Louis. (for all those who are wondering, I had the lovely view of the wall of the building across the street)

Look, the Arch was cool, the Zoo was amazing- literally the best zoo I've ever been to- however, I still wouldn't want to go back there. Big deal, they have a baseball team. If that's what's going to determine the location of nats, Baltimore has an even better view of the baseball field! Not to mention an abuncande of the one thing that was next to impossible to find in St. Louis during the tournement... food.

Baltimore has a baseball team?

Which of the minor league franchises are you referring to, the Orioles or the Nationals LOL.

I'm to the point of, St. Louis, wherever, just please let us know!!!

I'm to the point where I am flabbergasted that there hasn't been an apology or an acknowledgment that this delay in info is going to make Nats unaffordable for a lot of people. Last year I had our hotel room booked in January. The closer it gets to the event, the more expensive it is to go. I don't even want to think about what another month or two is going to do to the price of plane tickets. Needless to say, Apache and I probably won't be able to go to Nats this year now.

So in reality, we still have about 4 1/2 months (+/- 2 weeks).

In our case, we have things that we already have planned for the summer and, as my daughter is graduating this year from HS, there are some other trips that are in the process of being planned.

Without a date for Nats to work around, we don't know which dates to black-out and are just going ahead and planning everything.

If U.S. Nationals happens to fall on one of those dates, too bad. We can't wait for PUI to make this announcement. We have to go ahead and make our own plans.

I booked in February last year. About $200 roundtrip to St.Louis from California right now (same as last year), I want the location and date NOW.

I'm in your same boat, my work is asking for ALL summer time off to be request asap. This is just sad. Thank you POP, enjoy your lower attendance nationals.

I'd make sure a certain someone doesn't see your post.

I sort of figured we'd have an announcement by now. I am predicting states being when it's announced : /

Wait, don't they (usually) give travel awards to Nationals at States? Don't they HAVE to have announced it by then?

What would Magnum P.I. do? He would start to rule out where it is not going to be held. Somebody start checking around large convention centers in the U.S. and ask to see what three day weekends in the summer are booked. These things usually want long term notice. So if anything is on the schedule it should be on by now. Once we find out all the cities that it will not be held in then we will know what is left for POP to choose from.

I'm sure that POP have (had?) a venue reserved. Maybe even more than one. Something is holding up the release of the information. In all probablility we will never be told what is causing the delay.
