Hello there Pokegym,, Vablakes here! I went to the VA Regionals yesterday. I played Darkrai/Hydreigon. I'll get to the report, but here is a quick rundown of what happened before the tournament.
I got up at six in the morning, making sure that my deck was all together, re-arranging my trade binder. I also ate some breakfast. Then I left. It was only about an hour's drive, so I was lucky. I heard of people driving 6+ hours to get there!
I got there and did some trading. A lot of trading. Not really to much notable during that time. I'll just get to the report and list.

Round 1 Vs. Kayla with Empoleon/Landorus/Terrakion
This game was pretty cool. I go second, and she gets a T2 Rare Candy Empoleon to KO my Sableye. I keep Catcher stalling her Terrakion, as I just can't hit enough energy. I finally hit the energy I need and start attacking. I know that she has 3 prizes to my 4 and a Landorus with 2 energy and no damage on her bench. She also had a Piplup with 30 and an Emolga. I Catcher the Emolga and Night Spear it and the Piplup for KO with my Darkrai that had 30 damage on it. She activates Landorus-EX, attaches a Fighting and uses Land's Judgment for KO. send up Mewtwo. I have 4 energy on the field, 1 energy in hand and a Skyla. I drop the energy, Skyla for Dark Patch, Play the Dark Patch and Dark Trance all 6 energy onto Mewtwo for game.

Round 2 Vs. ??? with Blastoise/Keldeo
I go second and get a T2 Rare Candy Hydreigon and Night Spear. He gets a T3 Rare Candy Blastoise and 7 energy on a Keldeo to OHKO my Darkrai. I just could not hit my Mewtwo or Shaymin until it was to late. I did manage to KO the Keldeo with a X-Ball, but he X-Balled me back for game. It didn't bother me, my deck had performed perfectly in both games so far, getting the T2 Candy Hydreigon. I just can't deal with a 7 energy Keldeo T2.

Round 3 Vs. ??? with Blastoise/Keldeo
I'm forced to start with Mewtwo. That pretty much cost me the game. I go second, but I get a T2 Candy Hydreigon. However, he gets a T4-ish Rare Candy Blastoise and a Mewtwo and dumps a bunch of energy (nine if I remember correctly) onto it. I never thought I would hate Cilan so much. Or Energy Retrieval. He Catcher KOs my Mewtwo, and I jut have no response whatsoever.

During the lunch break, I play some fun games. I beat a Mewtwo-EX/Landorus-EX/Tornadus-EX and a Blastoise/Keldeo. It was pretty fun!
Round 4 Vs. ??? with *gasp* Blastoise/Keldeo
I go first for the first time all day, and get a T2 Rare Candy Hydreigon Night Spear, putting a ton of pressure on. I used my Catchers to make sure there were no Keldeo-EX that he could safely Deluge to. I also KO his Blastoise, 30 damage at a time. He only took a couple prizes.

Round 5 Vs. ??? with Darkrai/Hydreigon
This was no where near an even game. I didn't let him get a Hydreigon all game, and I had mine. He brought it pretty close though. I managed to snag 4 prizes off of non EX Pokémon, and took my last 2 off of a Darkrai. He took 3 Prizes, though.

Round 6 Vs. ??? with RayEels
Well, this was an Up-pair! Winning this one and my next game could get me into top cut. I was nervous, but I played a near perfect game. I got a Hydreigon, put pressure on Eels, but he ended up getting 3 Eels, 2 Rayquaza-EX and a Skyarrow. I took out one of his Rayquaza with a Darkrai, and one more with a Hydreigon. He has 2 Prizes, and I have 2. He has an Emolga active. I have one energy on a Darkrai, one energy in hand and 2 Dark Patch in my 12 card deck. I attach the energy and Juniper. I don't hit the Dark Patch. So, I activate Deino to force him to have a Catcher in hand. Well, he had Juniper for Catcher. He Catchered my Darkrai and KOed it. My topdeck would have been Dark Patch and I had the Catcher in hand. He had an Eel with 60 damage on his bench.

Round 7 Vs. Oliver with Ho-Oh
This was a great game. It was another up-pair! He starts attacking with Landorus-EX early on, and I have nothing. He was ripping through my field. He Catchers my Hydreigon and uses Land's Judgment for KO, but discards all of his energy. Then, I N him. I start making a comeback. I get a Darkrai and power that up. I KO his Landorus. I KO his Terrakion. I KO something else (can't remember what). I'm down to 2 prizes. He can't hit anything. He Skylas for a Juniper at one point, but I N it away. He actually had to Rebirth and attack with Ho-Oh. I attach a third energy to my Mewtwo and X-Ball it for 120. He retreats to his Sigilyph, attaches DCE and passes. I send up Darkrai and Night Spear the Ho-Oh for 30. The next turn, he can't really do much, and I just Night Spear for 30 to the Ho-Oh for game.

So, top 32 got packs. I placed 32nd like a boss. I got my 7 packs and pulled a Landorus-EX regular art, Ditto, Dusknoir and Meloetta. After that, I got so sick that I couldn't stand for more than a minute and I was shaking like mad. I had a headache and my stomach hurt. It was some sort of sickness, I don't know. So, I just laid down and waited for my ride to pick me up. It took him an hour, but that was OK. So, if you saw a guy in a bright pink shirt laying next to a wall after the Seniors rounds were over, you saw me. I got over the virus with a good night's sleep, but I was sad that I couldn't do more trading/talking to people.
