ain't all meat organic?
no, organic meat is fed on organic food, non organic is fed stuff that is grown with pesticides etc.
as stated in the OP, this thread is NOT for those who choose to eat meat to post about how much they love it/how much they can't imagine living without it. such posts are off-topic and will continue to be deleted. final warning: new off-topic posts will result in infraction points.
I've been vegetarian for about 10 years now, but only within the 6 months have I really paid attention to what I eat to make sure I'm eating healthy. I know lots of people who are vegetarians that eat very unhealthy, so they really aren't in better shape than people that do eat meat. I guess most of those people I know are vegetarian more because they support PETA and all that stuff, but I do it mainly for the health benefits.
I won't totally go into my diet, but I exercise every day and I try to get at least 100 g's of protein daily. I usually eat a lot of small meals containing 10 to 20 g's of protein to accomplish this. Also I don't eat anything with high fructose corn syrup, MSG and other chemicals, caffeine, and high amounts of sugar. I try to get a lot of fiber and eat organic when possible. I've felt great since I changed my eating habits and I've actually put on some weight (muscle) since the change, mainly because I only eat things of substance. If you wanna know any specific things I eat you can PM me...
meat is fine. dont eat the fatty parts and youre gold
congratulations on having more will power than i could ever hope to have! As long as you are a vegetarian for health reasons and not 'animal rights', you're cool. to those stupid vegatrians (animal rights activist), i say for every animal you don't eat, i'll eat three!
