Several reminders:
1. Please treat the procedures of this tournament the same way you would at a Premier Tournament and follow all rules of procedures and personal conduct at all times.
2. Don't forget to bring or memorize your Player ID# and your $5 registration fee. Player IDs will be avaialble to new members only. Members who arrive without knowing their Player ID# and actually have ever been issued one may be denied entry into the tournament. Please log into your Trainer Club Account on Pokemon.com to find your Player ID if you fear that you fall into this category.
3. Registration starts at 12:30 P.M. and Round 1 will start at 1:30. Please make every effort to arrive and be in the registration line with a completed decklist by 1:15. Entrants not in line by that time will be registered with a FIRST ROUND LOSS, NO EXCEPTIONS.
4. Speaking of decklists, they will be available to fill out on-site, or you can download and fill via http://sites.google.com/site/virginiapokemon/formsandlists. Please download the generic decklist from this page. We understand that it says 2010-2011 season, but that's the closest one to generically accurate as it goes at this time.
5. Ensure that your decks are in accordance with the Modified Format (HGSS-on).
6. Outside food (except Chinese) is allowed in the store, but none are allowed on the gaming tables. Beverages with screw-caps are only allowed. Remember to clean up after yourselves and keep the restroom there clean.
7. Since there will be children attending and playing in this tournament, absolutley no foul (body) odor, attitude, and language will be tolerated throughout the tournament. All violators are subject to severe penalties for contributing to an unfair, uncomfortable, or otherwise unsafe environment for tournament play.
8. Stealing is a crime! If you are caught stealing items from the store or other players, not only do you have to deal with the cops, but Adam will also be obligated to report these incidents to the Pokemon Company regardless of the legal outcome. Please safeguard your belongings at all times. If you want to trade cards, please do so before, or after the tournament.
9. You are free to purchase additional Pokemon Booster Packs available in-store during the tournament, however, you are highly discouraged from modifying your decks mid-tournament.
10. All Comic Kings Pokemon Tournamants are officially sanctioned by the Pokemon Company. Any major or severe penalties a player incurs at a sanctioned tournament (warnings, prize/game losses, disqualification, etc.) will be reported to the Pokemon Company for behavior tracking purposes. Repeat offenses for the same penalties can and will adversely affect players' ability to participate or succeed in future tournaments. This goes back to Rule 1...

Let's not forget the prizes(Please note based on attendance prize support may be subject to change)
1. For paying the registration fee, you get one Pokemon Booster pack of your choice between all sets in the Modified Format. Unfortunately, you cannot modify your deck...you will be required to submit your decklist before you choose your pack.
2. In each division: a combination of your choice in current-rotation of
4th Place - 2 Booster packs
3rd Place - 3 Booster Packs
2nd Place - 3 Booster Packs
1st Place - 4 Booster Packs + 1st round bye for next week's tournament.
(These are all minimum numbers set by the prize support equivalent to one booster box to cover all 3 divisions. Joey, the store owner, will increase these numbers based on attendance. More people means potential to win more packs!)
3. Random door prizes!
