Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Virginia's 2009 Autumn Battle Road Info!!

Nothing you said here makes sense. You don't win, except that you have won 7 events? You don't win, but you don't usually get more than 2 losses?

translation he usually goes X-1 in swiss the second game he losses is in top cut, which puts him at X-2, he cant get an X-3 because he is out of the tournoment

Edit: wow TFP just ninja'ed me on the response (check the time of post)

There are just TOO MANY combinations possible this format.

It's like going to Dairy Queen. You just stare and end up leaving empty handed.

overload...

I don't have any idea what deck I will run IF the family is up to going tomorrow.

I'll just say "See ya tomorrow" and hope for the best :)

While I'm sure we'll have a big group in Warrenton, Virginia Beach always mystifies me. When I expect a crowd, we end up age modified. When I prepare for a light crowd, I'm pleasantly surprised. Most of the locals there don't visit this site (the city's name tells all, I'm afraid) but I'd like to at least have an idea who will be there Sunday....

Remember, chair for Sat.

Arceus sleeves at both events (deck box as well if we hit 40!)

Yeah, we sometimes get a lot of people and sometimes barely any at all.
Oddly enough, there were more people at Virginia Beach's Fall BR last year than at its CC...

The only time I would have left Dairy Queen empty handed was because the line was too long so I ran to Subway before everyone realized there was no line there. It might have been the reverse though, I don't remember.

Listen to the ambient noise

Warrenton mini-report:

Used Kingdra; went 5-0 in swiss; won in the semis; lost in the finals.

- Props to T1 Kingdra, Chick Filet, Chris from LCHS (if he's reading this), judges, organizers, etc.
- Extra props to Caleb and his brother for giving me 2 Kingdras
- Slops to my poor play in G3 of the finals

Dean, if you're reading this, I gave your 1 Luxray Lv X, 1 Poke Turn, 1 Cynthia's Feelings and 1 SP Radar to Jimmy.

who did you lose to?

yoyofsho16, while most of the people where you are don't visit Pokegym, would they be more likely to visit an actual wesbite, like the virginiapokemon site?

Thinking about this, isn't that more of a psychological thing than VA Beach's actual attendance?
Setting the bar high sets you up to fall short of expectations; setting the bar low(er) allows you to be impressed.

Perhaps ask Kimberly for a for a roll call from the league? If you get an idea of what leaguers will show up, you can prepare for atleast that many. From there, you can compensate by past knowledge of how many non-league players usually show up. Say, roll call +10 players?

I'll be optimistic and predict 40 people :thumb:

Mike P was playing an atrocious list.
