Waikoloa?

Because I haven't been able to find any answer on Google, I figured I'd ask here.

What island is Waikoloa on in Hawaii? I've seen some places say it's on "The Big Island", but I'm not familiar with Hawaii at all, so I don't know what island this is.

Also, have we gotten any information about exactly where in Waikoloa the tournament will be held? I'm looking into how much it would cost to go, and this is pretty important to know when looking into hotels since I'd want to book one close enough to the venue that I wouldn't have to rent a car. If they haven't released this information yet, does anybody know when it will be released? I haven't been able to find any info about this on pokemon.com.

Okay, that clears it all up. Thanks. One little thing, though. In the link FunnyBear gave, it lists the following dates:

Date #1 : August 7-11, 2012 (4 nights) - Unavailable
Date #2 : July 3-7, 2012 (4 nights) - Available

What do these dates mean? Because the dates are listed as August 10-12 on the Pokemon website. Are these incorrect?

Neither of those dates seem substantial related to Worlds

Worlds is Aug 10-12. Website is correct.

Airport abbreviation for the island is KOA. Some flights go directly there, others seem to hit Honolulu 1st, then a short plane ride to KOA.
