Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Watch a game I played on Pokémon TCGO

Actually, we've streamed plenty of matches on The Top Cut's stream... most of the videos are on our site for people to watch. We've been doing it for a few months! Guess people just don't know about it.

I really enjoy your guys commentary but some of the video is a little iffy. While you are recording real games with good commentary... This video of the TCGO was alot clearer and easier to follow overall. I think both pooka and ness can have succesful channels but I think ness' will be more attractive to brand new players because his goal is to talk about why a player would make a certain move and just general knowledge that can help any player, new or old.
On the other hand pooka's channel will have a older audience because its more geared to covering match ups of well known players but if he could get clearer coverage it might even be more open to newer players aswell.

Thats just my two cents

But I must give you praise on your commentary once more. Because of your commentary it was the most entertaining Pokémon TCG game video I 've watched. I remember when I watched the 2008 Worlds' finals on the internet and it was simply boring even though it was sped up - because it had no audio. The quality of commentary and audio is what makes the video good or bad - not neccessarily what happens on the video.
Yes, that video was pretty bad. This one was fun to watch. Good commentators FTW!

Not to mention, the deck was pretty cool too. I built the deck myself after seeing this video (with the one difference being 3x Pignite and 3x Rare Candy). I've been playing a deck with Emboar and Reshiram for a while: Doing 120 to a Reshiram with a Reshiram is bad. Doing 150 to an opponent's Reshiram is good!

See you at the Online TCG Worlds in 2024!

For those of you who aren't friends with me on Facebook: My new video is up! It's my Mew/Lucario/Zoroark deck vs Matt Alvis's Typhlosion/Reshiram/Ninetales. I'm getting a lot better with my video editing software. Here are some improvements I made to make the match more viewer friendly:

1) On camera opening. You'll get to see my lovely face as I discuss my deck.

2) Close up scans of cards. When I discuss a card in detail, I pull up a large, clear scan of the card for you to read.

3) Condensed game. I cut out a lot of the time where we each thought on our turn, only pausing to discuss strategy.

Improvement 3 is by far my favorite.

Which recording / editing programs do you use?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure no one wanted to watch Matt's 2 minute search with Twins. I used Camtasia. If anyone is experienced with it, I have a question about one thing that I am having trouble doing. PM me/Skype me/Facebook me/Send a carrier Pidgey.

Improvement 1 is by far my favorite.
BTW you have an awesome house :3

Thank you!

With me being new to Pokemon TCG, watching these videos have helped me get down the basics of the game and also showing about planing ahead and out thinking the opp.
