I've read Absoltrainer's post, and I too agree that if you vote Lakak, you don't get anything out of it but the worst luck possible.

Because he's the type of person who doesn't seem to do anything wrong whatsoever, but you never know.

homeofmew has only been in one other werewolf game to my knowledge. Most gamemasters wait until a player is experienced to make them a wolf. I have seen this with most of the games. The wolfs need to e the best players. No offense to homeofmew, but I do not think she would be experienced enough to be a wolf. I think that maybe on her third game, she might be considered a wolf. On the other hand we should see where this game goes. I may be wrong.

I played many Wolf games VIA AIM. Real Life not just a lot on the gym
Calling me inexperienced is completely faulty. ;p

Please note some GMs pick experienced players to do the Seer Role too.
May I remind you I was a WOLF in PETER's Game and the SEER in CARDZ Game.
So my FIRST TWO games (on pokegym) I didn't have a COMMON PERSON ROLE.
This was probably because peter and cardz knew I knew how to play the game but wanted to surprise people a first timer got important roles..

I am only saying this because Absoltrainer just got his facts wrong. And the Werewolf Archive is easily accessible to this information anyway.

MATHEMATICALLY The Probability of me having a Wolf/Seer/Important role AGAIN is very low.
It is my third time here. =D

However Chris (DUKE FIRE BIRD) said the ROLES were Random so my role was not my level of play.

LAKAK's ROLE was intresting last game.

I don't think Absoltrainer is saying you are definitely a wolf, However we don't want to vote lakak due to the fact of last games twist.
I am not sure of Absoltrainer's Roles in other games, I know in Cardz game he had a normal role ( I was the Seer).

So maybe because Absol=Wolf makes Absoltrainer less likely to be a wolf?
I could be wrong since the roles were random.

If only other Wolf groups had used that, then it wouldn't have been hard to eliminate the other townspeople.

Anyway. I sincerely doubt your logic on the "seniority gets 'Wolf'" idea. Not much basis in reality. Besides, wouldn't giving a relative noob, 'wolf,' make the game more interesting in seeing how they may mess it up? Or make random desicions on nightly killing? As a GM, I'd probably do something like that...

However, I'm not the GM, DFB is....

I do applaud Absoltrainer for sticking his head out there T1 and making some observations, right or wrong. usually it's me who has to jumpstart discussion at some point. GJ.

Besides, if 'Seniority got wolf' was true, I'd definitely be a wolf. I mean, I've played in every game so far, except for the live game @ Nats last year....


In addition, I'm glad that there was some planning last game to save Lakak from his dire T1 death. It's been almost sad to see him not even be able to participate in any game....

:thumb: Because he's not using common sense me being a wolf/seer/independent or not is besides the point.

Absoltrainer calling me inexperienced was highly uncalled for.

According to his post i should be a Wolf/Seer/Independent again because I was an important role..
Having me being an important role 3 games in a row would be Statistically insane! (if it is Random)

However I think the GMs try to make it Random

YAY I'm a N00B!

But really, we have no info, and just voting for one random person we pick is stupid and will not get the game going. What happened last game is that the second day didn't start for a long time, since alliances were trying to be set up and votes were flying around randomly. I say we start the game by just picking off the most voted, and give Lakak a chance.

Just like last game, I'm trying to save Lakak. I guess I'm sorta suspicious too!
 
If the roles are random, there is no skill in turn 1 at all. Sorry, none, no way to tell anything. I have played werewolf many times and everytime its turned out as someone saying something like "they have a feather in their hat! they must be wolf!!" (this happened twice to the same guy t-1) and then everyone kills em. It is just a stab in the dark so ill just wait to finish someone off and let you guys do the pointless talking.

Personally, i think that Lakak could be a wolf/indie, just based on the arguments I've seen here. Duke could have made him a wolf, knowing full well that people would be discouraged by what happened in the last game. But it's doubtful.

No real strategy on day 1 anyway... so let's just get it over and done with.

Reason: He set up suspicions for alot of players that were in the last game. It kind of seems like hes working off of a list. Duke said that he was adding alot of roles. Maybe one of them was someone with a hit list? Also in the past players have mostly kept their strategies to themselves and people that they know are their partners so why would he tell us everyone he suspects already?

Hmmm, looking back, I see I was mistaken. I'll be honest, I knew you were in a LOT of games, and I was going off memory about how many times you were a wolf. However, that strenghtens my thoery based on the fact that odds are by the 5th game you might be a wolf.

homeofmew, excuse me for not including the AIM games. Seeing as they last like 10 min, I do not take then into consideration. I looked at the werewolf compendium and only came across your name twice.

1 of the games was cardz's half game, which I did not know your role and thus removed it as a variable. That left simply 1 varible left.
When I made the conclusion of not enugh experiance, I based it off gym games.

If you want to call yourself a wolf and deny the argument that you are not, that's mighty weird, possibly reverse psycology?
 
Before I announce voting standings, I want to make 1 thing clear.

I have played in all the wolf games (and I have never been a wolf)
All the roles in this game were randomized.

With the final votes cast with the cry of "Lets break Tradition", a hologram appeared. It was Mr. X.

"Congratulations on figuring out your first victim. now, take him to the foyer and put him on the circular rug in the middle of the room."

When the village forces Time for Pain on the rug, there was a click, and Time for Pain fell through a trap door. About 10 seconds later there was a loud *SPLAT*. Time for Pain felt pain as his body hit the solid cement floor of the dungeon.

When the dust settled, there was an envelope with Time for Pain written on it. The village opened it, and the note inside revealed that Time for Pain was Kingdra.

Playing some rounds of this game with some friends the other night reminded me how much I like the game, but it appears I'm a bit late to the party. But I suppose if theres an opening, I'd like to be a replacement. ps: Poor Johnny.(TFP) I'm sure he'll be complaining about back problems at league Friday.:biggrin:
