***The easiest way to get there is to take I-95 until you get to the Forrest Hill Exit in the West Palm Beach area. It doesn't matter if your coming from the North or the South of West Palm Beach. If you take this route, you will only have to follow one road to the venue from I-95. Basically, just keep going west and you'll get there.***

If you're coming from the North, you may use the Turnpike all the way to Fort Pierce( $6.50 - TOLL ). Take the Fort Pierce Exit and go east to I-95. This is a right turn after the Toll Booths. Less than a mile away is the ramp for I-95 South. Just stay on the right the whole time after you leave the Turnpike toll booths. Exit I-95 on Forrest Hill and go west( right turn ). Just follow Forrest Hill Blvd. for about 11 miles. The Wellington Mall is on the corner of Forrest Hill Blvd. & Wellington Trace. It will be on your right-hand side. There is a Checkers Drive-Thru & a Boston Market right in front of the Mall.

If you're coming from the South, take I-95 all the way to the Forrest Hill Exit and then go west from. Follow the same directions as above.

As an alternative, you may take the Turnpike all the way to the Southern Blvd. Exit. From the Turnpike, go west on Southern Blvd. until you get to Forrest Hill Blvd. Make a left and less than a mile away is the intersection of Forrest Hill Blvd. & Wellington Trace. Check above for landmarks.

The event will be located in the middle of the Mall.

    $5.00 Entry Fee

Extra money for food & drinks. We will be ordering subs from Subway which will be available for purchase during the 1:30 PM break. Each serving will be $3.00 each. You may have some reserved for you if you'd like but we are not planning in placing a big order ahead of time if not many of you are interested. No one likes to waste good food. Drinks will be available for $1.00. There will also be other treats available such as brownies, cupcakes, cookies, chips & candies. There is a grill place called Flying Cow which has a game/billiard room and a coffee & espresso bar located in the mall. There is also a Boston Market & a Checker Drive-Thru right outside of the Mall. Other establishments are just a short drive away.

    1. Make sure your deck is complete and is according to the current format. If you are not sure about a card, check with a Gym Leader, Professor, Judge or Organizer.
    2. Make sure you bring your deck, dice and damage counters.
    3. Be sure to complete your Deck list. These are required at almost every major event.
    4. When you bring your deck list to the tourney and present it with your deck to the Judge, make sure your deck is in the same order as is on the deck list. For example:
Pokemon - in order as listed on your sheet
Trainer Cards in order as listed on you sheet
Energy Cards in order as listed on your sheet.
This makes the registration process go MUCH MUCH faster.
    5. Have your POP ID handy. If you don't have it let the Judge/Staff know so they can assign you one. If you have played before and do have a POP ID, but forgot it, let the Judge/staff know so they can look it up for you.
    6. Pay attention to announcements.
    7. Always watch your belongings. Don’t leave them unattended.
    8. Also, why not bring yourself a snack and some drinks. Those who have played before know this is a long day, and those who are new sure find out!
    9. These are also great days for trading cards and meeting great people.
    10. Lastly, remember, although Pokemon is great fun, remember it is a GAME, and we are here to enjoy! Good Luck to all!

Thanks to Renee Martinez for this “Player Checklist“!

Any cards from older sets with the same name as the cards from these sets may also be used.

Foreign language copies of these cards may be used. It is the player’s responsibility to know the exact information contained in the card.

If you are not sure if a card is legal to use in the tournament, you may approach any of the Tournament’s Staff or any of the League Leader or Pokemon Professor. Any of them would be more than happy to help you.

    Randomizer & damage counters:
It is a player’s responsibility to make sure that you bring a die and damage counters for the tournament.

Only a 6-sided die will be permitted as a randomizer for this event. No coins, paper coins, electronic randomizers or die with more than 6 sides allowed. If you do not have one available, notify any of the Tournament Staff and they will provide you with one.

If you don’t have enough damage counters or if you don’t have any damage counters at all, notify any of the Tournament Staff and they will provide you with damage counters to use for the event.

Random deck/sleeves check will be conducted throughout the tournament. If it is found that your deck has been altered, you will be disqualified.
Profanity, poor sportsmanship & unruly behavior will not be tolerated. Due to the differing age groups, these issues cannot be overlooked. Also, out of respect to the venue’s proprietor, the tournament staff has to make sure that the event is conducted without any unpleasant incident. If you decide to ignore this rule, you will be disqualified from the tournament & will be ejected from the premises. You may make your own decision ahead of time not to participate in this event if you disagree with this rule.
Any ruling made by a Judge will be final. Respect this rule. If you disrespect a Judge or a Tournament Staff in any way, you will be ejected from the premises as per RULE 4 above.
Once your match is over, call a judge/staff to have your results recorded on their sheet. Afterwards, you & your opponent will sign the judge’s sheet. Do not leave the table until a judge/staff has recorded your results. Your signature declares that the results are accurate and these results cannot be altered afterwards.
Most important rule of all, give it all your best and try to win but don’t forget to have fun playing!
