What good cards do you add to rumble?

  1. I realize any card can be played in place of the standard rumble ones. Anyone have any good suggestions for what good additions are?

    Any high HP Pokemon with Rage is absolutely hilarious. I like Arcanine RR.

    I think we added Garchomp C. Spreaders also make the game hilarious.

    Rayquaza LA is also absolutely hilarious.

    see a pattern here? rumble is generally just hilarious

    Turtwig GL is a pain in the neck to get rid of.

    Well, it depends if you're playing with flips or not.
    If you are, then not a flippy 'mon. If you aren't...

    Magikarp WW for Dragon Rage, 60 ftw =P

    Oh, if you can play Lv. Xs and aren't flippy, Glaceon Lv. X would be a blast. WWC for 70 to one target and 20 to everything else on the field? Oh yeah.

    Rules say to ignore text. I added Dark Charmeleon one time just to do 3 FR Energy for 70.

    Rules say to ignore status effects, not text that has damage calculations. It also says to feel free to add your own rules. So, in that manner you can have a 'house rule' to ignore all text, but the printed rules say otherwise. Some of the cards that come with the Rumble game even have text you use in the game...

    once we made a rule where if you KO a pokemon you get to go again. i played the rayquaza that does 150 damage and knocked out almost everybody because i just randomly happened to get 2 fires and 2 lightning each time (lets not mention the fact i was playing against a couple of 7-8 year olds and with rigged dice. :biggrin: ). still, its a really fun card to use when you get the energies.

    I say DONPHAN Prime would be good with only one fighting energy for 60 damage, and with 100 HP that's pretty good.
