Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

whats different about a shiny

the only one ive ever caught is.. hold on to your seat belts everyone, your never going to believe this.....RED GYRADOS!!! Whoo, that was suspenseful. but really, i have never seen one in the wild before.

In GSC it meant worse stats, since shineyness (is that a word?) was based off of IVs. Now it is not, so a shiney can be just as powerfull as a nonshiney. The only current difference is that a Shiney has different coloring, and I believe thats it, well besides the obvious shiney stars that appear around it once it is encountered/released from its ball

There are some things different about shiney's when you use them.

If your opponent attempts to switch, 10% of the time the switch would fail. *multiplayer battles only*

You get a slightly greater bonus for your EV's.
