Whitewater, WI--santioned modified tournament Nov. 21st at 1:00pm

Depends on how many people come that go to the Brookfield City Championships the day before and how many people on campus stay for the weekend--sounds like a lot of them are going home.

I only have 4 confirmed players right now (pokewisconsin, rulemaster, hypnosprojectHQ and his brother). I'm going to put up flyers tomorrow on campus, wal-mart, and blockbuster (only nearby places that sell cards here) if they let me and hopefully get some players that way as well.

I can let you know later how many I think I'll have. How far away are you exactly? What would you preference be for admission? can be free or a cost--the higher the cost the bigger the prizes. All I have right now is 14 packs of hidden legends and a box of dragon (assuming people would only want cards that are modified legal). And then I'll also have the 4 packs of POP that I was sent for report (1 to each of the top 3 finishers and 1 to a person of my choice).

If you were to come would you be bringing anyone else with you to play?

So I live in Illinois-how many people are you expecting?

Ok, so if you come that would be 6 for sure. I put up a flyer at Wal-mart and blockbuster yesterday and a few on campus, don't know if that will bring in any people or how many. If I know anyone is coming from the Brookfield CC (are you going to be there?), I'll PM you Saturday night with how many people I'm expecting for sure.

Hey, mekonow, Niles is not having their CC on 12/11- they are looking at January now. I would put that date back into consideration- many people that would have gone there could go to one in Whitewater.

12/11 works, I will have to go to another state for a CC if that is not your chosen date. 12/12 works for me as well, as does 1/22 or 1/23. I can ask some of the other IL people if they want to go if you have it on any of these days, I know of at least one of two that would go.

If anyone else from IL needs a ride to this event or any other event on my CC list, just pm me or email me and maybe we can work something out.

Well, I got a somewhat decent draft deck, however, I had some people who had cards to exploit my cards weaknesses and didn't get up the power hitters that I had often enough, Dark Hypno only can up twice in 7 matches. I had several good lines- but I couldnt use them in the draft cause I was missing the stage 1,2, or basic for them. I still had fun there and made some excellent trades. Someone commented that they never seen so many Alaskan Pikachu's floating around... I wonder who was responsible for that?

Let me know as soon as you can how many people will be coming with you (including you) as soon as you know (assuming you can come). If it ends of being you, your brother, dad, and josh (basically 4 or more people) that would make 6 with pokewisconsin and rulemaster so if Dunsparce ex came with the 1 other person that would be a guaranteed 8. I'm hoping a few other people that go to the Brookfield CC will be able to make it. I know charizardmastertrainer CANT because of school commitments.

We'll determine admission and prize structure once people arrive. I'll have the cost be optional (if there is one) but only those who pay will be eligible for prizes (obviously). Unfortunetly I don't have any TRR or FRLG packs (doubt I'll have any by then--don't have any on the way right now anyway). So prize support wouldnt be *new.* Whatever we use for prizes I'll make sure is modified legal anyway.

I saw someone post that you have to schedule CC 5 weeks in advance to make sure you get the tourney support and that, so I'm guessing I wouldnt be able to do Dec. 11th or 12th even if I wanted too. The following weekend I'll be studying for final exams, then I'm home (green bay) until January 16th or so. So the only possible weekend would be January 22nd/23rd. I'll start a new thread if/when I have a CC.
