Why Team Galactic's Wager needs errata

Not only will I have to spend countless hours working on my list, metagaming, and playtest against every other deck, I will also have to waste time learning all the tricks and trades to rock paper scissors.

If someone can increase their odds to...70% of winning rps using different strategies, it just isn't right that they can shuffle their opponents' hands down to three almost every time.

This card goes against the nature of the game. Emphasis should be put on pokemon, not on rps.

i learned the tricks, trades, and secrets after reading for 5 min
 
I can't believe PUI's answer to some ATM forum questions basically sounding like anything other than R P S is not allowed. =/ I hope they at least give up an option.
 
i wouldn't worry myself, cause im uh, already sort of over it...

see i've got more important things to worry about, like, finding a good deck i can work with. not whining about rock paper scissors...

argue all you want, but your out of your debt, in the water, no one can here you scream, or whine in your case.

the card is made, people will play it,
like it, or lump it.

Sure, why not? It'd save the paper, which is quite useful. Actually, PUI/PCL have missed a trick here, haven't they? Official RPS cards to use in this way... :rolleyes:

EDIT: Even better, some future set should have the following cards:

Rock Stadium

Whenever a game of RPS is played, opponent is forced to choose Rock

(and similarly for Paper and Scissors)... :lol:

that wouldnt be broken at all
 
I like RPS. but it should be Rock Paper Scissors/ (then show) some people show on Scissors or too late.

RPS give you the opportunity to choose what you want.
Like in Magic you can "call a flip" not just the winning flip is heads.

RPS Cards are actually better than RPS Dice because then you still get to choose which one you want.

homeofmew: You've pretty much summed up what I've been saying all along. And I have wondered why Pokemon always asks for heads... surely the MTG way is better - then you don't get all the reports of people practising flipping heads...
 
If you can flip heads on purpose, you can just as easily flip tails.
You just start with the coin on the opposite side than usual.
